Cotton Court, Valencia Hotel Collection

My husband and I spent a night there to celebrate our anniversary. We were offered complimentary beer or water upon arrival. The room was homey! The refrigerator was stocked with nonalcoholic and alcoholic beverages. The restaurant experience was amazing!! Our waitress, Sydney was so sweet and attentive. Megan, the restaurant manager, was so attentive to everyone. They gifted us a complimentary desert and surprised us with a snack tray and champagne in our room for our anniversary! Even without the sweet gifts, we would come back to stay again and highly recommend Cotton Court to everyone!

I enjoyed this hotel. It has a unique feeling to it. The restaurant here has great people. We were here on a Friday and they had live music. The food is just okay. The staff at the hotel are okay. The grounds are beautiful. The only issue we had was the toilet did not properly flush. It was only a 1 night stay and we were only in the room to sleep so we didn't complain. The shower faucet is very high up and makes it feel like a rain shower. It will take you a moment to figure out the shower handles. We were in the handicap room. Overall - i would definitely stay here again.

I really liked the ambiance and eclectic feel of the hotel. The internal courtyard is amazing and a fun place to gather--even on a chilly night. Our room was very comfortable and included an abundance of power options which is a great convenience.

We are so happy to have this place to stay on our road trip. We brought our dog and he had plenty of places to play and walk. We loved the outdoor patio with heaters to sit and enjoy a cocktail! The rooms were well decorated, had a stocked fridge and snack basket, and were spacious. The staff were very kind and hospitable. We ate at the restaurant, Midnight Shift, and enjoyed our food. I recommend the hamburger and fries broccoli!

Friendliest staff and super comfortable accommodations, from the pillows and comforters to the on-site fitness center. The overall vibe is awesome too! Great outdoor space and super friendly staff at the Midnight Shift restaurant on site as well. Highly recommend and look forward to going back!

We were rudely welcomed in our arrival. The same indifference and hostile attitude occurred during our check out. This was not the sort of interaction I would expect from a high quality hotel. There was also an $18 dollar "destination fee" added to my bill. They could not tell us what this was for, it was not disclosed during our reservation, and borders on the lines of fraud in my opinion. Rooms were adequate but starting to show their age. The staff and the fee ruin the stay experience. I will not return. There are better option in Lubbock. Also, watch your statements. You will be charged for items from the mini-bar that you do not take.

We needed a hotel for an overnight so we could break up a very long drive. Upon arrival at The Cotton Court we were greeted by a friendly receptionist who had cold drinks in my hand in a matter of minutes. The lobby smelled wonderful like their signature candles (that are on sale). Our room was perfect! Comfortable bedding, a fridge filled with beverages for purchase, and the bathroom had robes and so many amenities - we didn't need to leave the room - but we did! We sat in the courtyard in front of a fire pit and took in the beautiful weather. We grabbed a bite to eat at The Midnight Shift - right next door and the food and service were fantastic. My only regret was that we had to check out the following day! This is a must stay if you are in Lubbock, TX. We already looked up other locations and we are keeping our fingers crossed we get the opportunity to return soon.
