Hampton Inn Lubbock

It was okay, but we were disappointed with the value for the price. This place was the same rate as the Hampton Inn by the University (which is super nice, we love staying there) but it was not nearly as nice. Definitely old and dingy, decor is dated, beds weren’t comfortable and the area isn’t great. For a place to simply rest our heads for the night, it served its purpose, but it was definitely overpriced. Everyone was very nice, but we will definitely stay at the other Hampton in the future. It’s nicer, newer, and cleaner.

We stopped here from Richmond, Tx to Taos, New Mexico. This is an older hotel but very clean and comfortable. The staff is professional and friendly. We enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was good. It looked like the hot tub had no water, under construction but the pool looked nice. It’s indoors of course.

Awful stay at this hotel. First when I walked in the guest room it did not smell clean. I walked into the bathroom and the light above the sink was broken. The toilet is gross and very dirty. The fan was loud and needs fixing. One of the towels was gray and looked dirty with a hole. The signal on the tv kept going in and out so that we couldn’t watch anything. There was no plastic bag in the ice bucket. Instead I took a plastic cup looking for ice, but the ice maker on the 2nd floor AND the first floor were broken. At least the customer service attendant was nice enough to let me have a cold bottle of water. There was no shampoo or shower gel in the shower so I had to go without that morning. The housekeeping should probably check those regularly. ||I was so uncomfortable staying in the hotel that I cancelled a future reservation I have there in favor of a different hotel.

Very comfortable and friendly Hotel. We requested and received the ground floor ✅. Beds are very comfy✅ walk in shower is awesome ✅ Breakfast was excellent. Definitely recommend this one

Hotel is clean, and the rooms smelled great.. Decor is a little dated. Now to the bed, oh the bed 😮‍💨. If you are over 40 and can't sleep anywhere anymore, pass on by. The bed was hard, not firm, HARD and lumpy.

Came here for a track meet at Texas. The place was clean and amazing service! Patrick is the best. He made sure that we had everything we need. Hi can tell that the owners care about this place and the experience that everyone has here. Thank you so much!

We stayed at this hotel this past weekend. It was absolutely awful for what we paid. Our room smelled like feet. I asked the hotel staff if they possibly had another room, only to be told they were completely booked. The lady at the front desk handed me a bottle of febreeze instead. We are Hilton Honors members, one night away from Diamond status. I've also been in the travel industry for years. The rooms were old and run down. The tub had rust stains, the bathroom wallpaper was peeling, and there was questionable substances on the walls. The carpet in front of the door was so chewed up. Breakfast was an absolute joke. Their beverage machine was out of order. The hallways were humid, they kept the door propped open by the indoor pool, even though the pool was "closed." There were several families also in town for family weekend at Texas Tech. They were so loud, the staff didn't make any effort to ask them to be courteous to other guests. There were kids riding the luggage carts in the entrance. We paid $733 for a Friday to Sunday stay. I'm so disappointed in Hilton. It felt more like Motel 6. Do better.
