★★★★★Everything was awesome. We had some left overs from a restaurant and didn't have plastic ware. The CS downstairs brought us some with in a couple minutes. Awesome Customer service. We were staying for the night to drive the next day. Beds were comfy and room was very clean.

Nill(Sept.2024 Manager addressed it via email just wanting to share my experience then.) I have a dissability and the new ada beds have Wafer think support so for us with larger built bodies and a dissability it will not support us. I fell through to the floor on the first one and the second was just the same. The staff member was pretty rude too and not very helpful to offer any suggestions or solutions. I would have taken a standard room if a detachable shower head could be put in the bathroom that is all I would need. The main issue was the new beds. I was here in the Spring for a Doctor appointment and the beds were amazing and sturdy. Also on Facebook and the website y'all still have the pictures of the old beds so that is what we were expecting. I was looking foward to getting some good rest before my father's funeral today and the trip back home. I ended up sleeping on the sofa, (not the pull out it was low to the ground and not very sturdy either) I didn't sleep well and absolutely sore all over. I've always recommend Hyatt, and I even wanted to show my family that Hyatt was a great place even though they could of gone to La Quinta that they usually go to for a lot cheaper price here in Lubbock. (Because that's what they really wanted but I talked them into giving Hyatt a chance) The first bed the support was already broken, I sat down gently and it just immediately went to the floor, there was no cracking noise or anything it just went through, like someone had broke it previously and stuck it back in place just enough to look like it was ready.Had to have my nephews help me up. The other room's bed holds but it's so low to the floor it would be difficult to get up from. So that is why decided to try and sleep on the sofa. Not sure if it was a corporate decision or just a local management decision for these new beds but they are just awful.

★★★★★Top tier hotel for a reasonable rate. Highly recommended. Breakfast was good. Check in was easy and timely. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Very nice hotel compared to your average hotel. A little more in price but worth it. Good location as well.

★★★★Breakfast was very good though not exceptional. Definitely not the best hotel breakfast I've ever had (as others have claimed) but there was some french toast that was probably pre-made. The hashbrowns were nice. Sausage was a little overcooked or shriveled - bacon is harder to make, but easier to make better. Hot oatmeal available.||||You really sink into the bed if you like that - it was a little noisy getting in and out. ||||Loved my one-bedroom suite - Kitchen though no plate, separate living room with a THIRD TV. Plenty of space if you are there for a few days and a microwave and midi-fridge.

★★★★★Definitely was a great stay. I got in a little late and ran into some user error issues. I originally thought that the door locks weren’t working but come to find out, when I tried to use both smart keys at once it was creating an issue. I went to the front desk and explained the situation and the clerk changed my rooms without hesitation. I tried to do the same thing with using both keys at once and the door wouldn’t open, which at this point was when I found out that I was the problem. I then went back to the desk and asked for the original room back, due to where it was situated and the clerked switched the room back. ||After the door issue and finally in the room, I then discovered that the thermostat in the room wasn’t working. Rather than going back and asked for the room swap, I asked for maintenance to come in the next morning to check it out. By the time I made it back to the room the next evening, the thermostat was fixed. ||The staff was very accommodating and helpful. The pool was very clean and the water was warm. I was in the pool for hours and had it to myself. The hotel is in close proximity to great places to eat and it in walking distance to the Texas Tech stadium. All in all, it was a great experience.

NillWe stayed for one night with our 2 young children while driving through Lubbock and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good but two key things: 1) Kelly who works the front desk is lovely. She was remarkably friendly and helpful with our kids. 2) The bars behind the hotel were incredibly loud at night. Between drunk people yelling and cars engine’s revving, we didn’t sleep until 2 am. The kids were not bothered. Next time I would request a room at the front of the hotel but we would come back to see Kelly:)

NillOverall this hotel was very nice, I wouldn’t complain about it, if we didn’t reserve a room online and then arriving to the hotel ready to relax for the evening after traveling and find they didn’t save our room. We found out that multiple teams of basketball players had came in after we reserved our room and then management (Abbi Tamplin) decided to give away our room with no notification to us. The point of reserving is that we know we have a room. The guy at the desk did his best to accommodate us but we were traveling with a large group so we needed the room we reserved. So it was frustrating to say the least to arrive to the hotel late in the evening and then find we didn’t have a room after all. So overall great place but don’t rely on them saving your room if you make a reservation. Definitely don’t rely on them even conveying that they let your reservation go. So if you like to gamble and want to see what happens when you get there, this is the place. If you want a secure reservation and trust they wont give your room to someone else, this is not the place.

NillI stayed there 23-25 May 2024 while I was in town from Colorado. Just now had the chance to write this review. The room was amazing, quiet and comfortable with an amazing view. The staff was efficient and mostly friendly, I had no issues and this hotel is walking distance to a Walmart and plenty of food options, plus easily accessible and ample parking. Next time I am in town, this will be my first option, I usually chose Hyatt Place in any city I visit because I very rarely have any issues with the hotel, staff and rooms.
