Wingate by Wyndham Lubbock near Texas Tech Univ. Medical Ctr

We had a great stay here. Just passing through. They have a inside pool and the gym was nice. Yes the walls are thin you can here little ones running but it was great over all. Very clean, everyone here was kind . The bed are very comfortable .Great breakfast, they had eggs, sausage,biscuits, and you can make your waffle . And you can walk to a couple of places to eat. Great location also. Right off the road. The price is good that's a plus too.

Great hotel at a very good price. Very clean and comfortable. Courteous, friendly and professional staff. Check in was easy. The only complaint we have is that there appears to be little to no insulation in the walls between rooms as we could hear just about everything from the room next to us. Examples: the TV was loud and clear, the snoring and the early morning conversation the gentleman was having on his phone. So we were thinking if we could hear him, he obviously could hear us. Maybe Wyndam should be more concerned about this.

First the sheets were dirty. Second the shower tub water did not drain. Third there was ANTS. The guest asked for another room and was told no. When showed video to service deskof the Ants that's when another room was assigned. This new room there was clothes left on the floor from the previous guests. Very bad experience. I do not recommend. Poor service and cleaning.

This is a hotel that has great potential, good building great structure furniture etc, but horrible management. Roaches in the breakfast area, elevators are gross, the floor and walls of it looked like they are rarely cleaned well. The room I stayed in, the toilet never stopped running, and it leaks from the back, the sink drains slowly almost clogged completely, the carpet needs a wash. I did like the bed! Nice and comfortable, but the decorative pillows had stains in it. Breakfast is the worse I have had in a while! The potato’s are reheated, from days ago, the area has roaches, and the cook manages to ruin even the eggs. Over all, lazy complacent staff, that means management is lacking leadership and quite possibly doesn’t care at all.

The night auditor Rudy was very friendly and helpful. I had a very pleasant conversation with him. The overall hotel was clean. The room was also clean except for the very corner where a very old accent chair was right next to the bed. I moved it to find trash and a very dusty floor lamp. The breakfast was the typical cheap continental the front desk person I believe her name was Claudia was also nice. I would stay here again.

Pretty good cheaper hotel. Nothing amazing and nothing horrible. Beds were rather hard with soft sheets. Big fridge but only super basic amenities. Huge bulk soap/shampoo/conditioners in showers. GOOD WATER PRESSURE! (Many times my personal biggest annoyance issue) Breakfast was very average, but a few hot food options. Certainly no 5 star experience, but for a reasonably priced hotel with breakfast included, we will seriously consider staying here again.

Location was great, quiet and safe. The only issues was that there was 5 people in one room and only two towel sets. We asked front desk for more towels and they did not have any extra. Other than that… the stay was great.

Easy off the highway, convenient. Room is dusty is most spots, doesn’t seem like the cleaning is good or prioritized. The walls are veryyyyy thin. Can hear down the hall, above or below. Business people I do not suggest because you won’t get a good nights sleep unfortunately.
