SpringHill Suites Texas City

Stayed here the day by going on a cruise out of Galveston. This is only a 20min drive from Galveston. The hotel is in a prime location. It sits next to a Bucees and Texas Roadhouse. Also, it's across the street from the Tanger Outlet Mall. There is a cool ten commandment statue in front of the hotel. Greeted on check in with a nice member goodie bag and of course the oatmeal raisin cookies. The rooms were clean as I have come to expect with Springhill. The showers had a tub instead of a walk in shower but still the water was nice and hot. Gym facility was nice the only complaint I have was the breakfast. I am used to more variety with SpringHill suites but this location had Frozen. Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches and some other Frozen breakfast and a wrapper under the food tray. There was one waffle maker. There was a really nice looking oatmeal bar. However, the oatmeal was extremely soupy and unappealing. I decided to forgo the spring Hill breakfast and just make a quick stop at bucee's on my way out.

First Time here and the staff seems very nice and helpful. The lady at the front desk was very polite and if you craving a snack or beverage they have that also will definitely be looking forward to the complementary breakfast. But would definitely recommend this business.

Positive: Staff always friendly and helpful.. bed was wonderful. Whole hotel was so clean. Delicious breakfast. Perfect location for cruising in Galveston or shopping in Houston.. ALSO a big congratulations!! The hotel had a stone TEN COMMANDMENTS out front. Negative: There was nothing I didn?t like, except price increase for March stay. Had to go to Webster location for lower price.

The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. We stayed here the day before our cruise. We had a king-size trundle/day bed. For our family of four. The room was roomy enough and well laid out. It was not without its issues like the bathroom lock didn't work and the sink panel was loose. However, we are all family, so there is no big deal about the lock, and a loose panel didn't pose any issues with function. Oh, we also didn't have any facial tissue in the room, though I'm certain the friendly staff would have remedied that. The breakfast was upscale continental, though not a full buffet. It certainly satisfied my children with waffles, cereal, and yogurt. I had a nice quiche and bacon. They also had an oatmeal bar. So, maybe really upscale continental. This is a nice 3-star hotel and I highly recommend this place, especially for a night before your cruise solution.

I have stayed here several times over the past few years when in town for business. The property is always very clean and the staff behind the desk is very friendly. I will always stay here when in the area. Highly recommended.

I have stayed in every hotel in the area. I would not stay here again. The carpets are smelly throughout the hotel. The front desk lacks polish and sophistication. The only good thing is they have better remote controls for the tv.

Ruben is an excellent employee. When checking in, he greeted us with a friendly smile. He explained the check-in very carefully and provided better arrangements than expected. The hotel is truly a blessing to have such an outstanding employee with unlimited potential.

Superb I enjoyed the whole stay three days. I called Sam ahead of my stay asked for a quiet room I was on the 4th floor nice. All the staff there was awesome one young lady help me with my lights should have wrote her name down thank you queen you know who you are😀. Housekeeping room was cleaned daily smelled good. Bed comfortable and I wished I could bring the shower home😀Not sure of attendant name for room 403 she cleaned it up and it smelled fantastic . Breakfast good too. Location across street from Mall walking distance to Buccees. Highly recommended I will be back again. Thanks Ms. Lisa
