Marriott Dallas/Fort Worth Westlake

Undergoing a much needed renovation. The rooms were once adequate, location is on a quieter side comparable to 2 other nearby Marriott properties and overall amenities are sufficient.|What made the stay memorable are the superb people. Mina and Ruth stand out as extraordinary in being customer centric and solution oriented.|Bob at the restaurant taking care of multiple swim families so early in the morning is notable and exemplary.|Once renovated, the hotel can be a promising stay.

This hotel is under construction until 2026 and nothing on the website tells you that. Front of the hotel is literally a construction dumpster ||Pretty much all the amenities are unavailable and it's obvious they stopped doing repairs to the rooms 3 years ago due to the remodel coming up.||Sink and counter was cracked in half and glued back together, leather ripped in the chairs, stains, hair in the shower, etc. I've stayed at nicer Motel 6's in the middle of nowhere. ||I would have left immediately but the booking was through my work and I was not able to change it.

Look, the place was great. Clean. Service was great. The hotel was under construction. Nobody's fault. The furniture was dated, but those were slated to be updated. I would stay here again.

Buyer beware!!!!! Probably the worst Marriott experience I have had in my 30 years of staying at Marriott properties. This hotel should NOT be open! They are going through a major remodel and it is horrendous staying there right now. All you have to do is read the other reviews here and it will confirm what I gave written. I would rather have stayed at a Super 8!!!!

Awful stay. Room is very tired. Part of my floor was boarded off with plywood. Stayed three nights, two of which there was NO hot water. I asked about it on checkout, and the woman said,” didn’t they tell you the water went out?” Then, I notice a $10 per day self park charge when I didn’t even have a car. This place went from a nice hotel to a dump.

Excelent food, good rooms. But teribile air condition in the floor and the meeting room. Temperature under 18 °C (65 F) and an air stream speed over 15 m/s - extremest wind chill effect. Like an air freezer. Please do not risk the healthy of your customers.

They made handed out keys to mine and a coworkers room by mistake. A random person walked into his room while he was laying on the bed and a day later somebody tried getting into my room with a key while I was getting dressed. The desk said "oops" "sorry", I requested a manager to call me three times, I am still waiting. Very unacceptable and unsafe. The carpet in my room had several stains. Hotel itself has an odd layout and looks like a WW2 bunker from the outside.

Worst service. No water bottles provided in the room, when you dial to the room service to bring some, the front desk asks you to come and get at lobby. I booked for King bed room and they provided 2 double bed room, it all started with that. they dont care about their guests. when asked they said can I adjust with that! I am not gonna stay in this hotel anymore.
