North Cascades Mountain Hostel

I had the entire hostel to myself, which has its perks and cons but nonetheless, it was an amazing stay. The accommodation is beautiful, Paul and Liza are lovely people, the town of Winthrop are as welcoming as they come and a great little community. I received recommendations from all people throughout the town about hikes, viewpoints, local hokey games and food stops. Highly recommended staying here as the town is a great base for your exploring and the hostel is perfect!

Modern and well-appointed hostel - clean, cosy and comfortable. Very welcoming common area, modern kitchen and dining area, and extremely comfortable bed. Just a quick one block walk to shops and dining too. Will definitely stay here again any time I am visiting the beautiful Methow Valley.

Perfect lodging in downtown Winthrop. I stayed in the winter, so town was quiet, and I had the place to myself for most of the trip. Clean rooms, bathrooms, and kitchen space. Comfy living room with multiple couches, plenty of books/board games, and a fireplace. Standard hostel amenities. 2-minute walk to restaurants and shops. Plenty of parking. The owner was friendly and helpful. Overall 10/10. Will stay here again in the future.

I’m not one to leave public reviews, but my stay was too amazing not to share. The hosts have so carefully thought and planned things out. Everything was so clean and organized. The kitchen was absolutely beautiful and had everything and beyond you would need. The rooms were so cute and comfortable. The living room area was so inviting and clean. Lastly, the hosts were so kind and understanding. Thank you for making my first hostel stay so amazing!

Super cute and clean hostel. Large open kitchen and living space. Stayed in the dorm room and the bed and nearby single-occupancy bathrooms and wash basin areas were comfortable to use. Highly recommended.

This a great place to stay while visiting North Cascades! The kitchen is well stocked, and the place is very beautiful. There is a hiker box and a free shelf in the fridge where you can leave or take items. My only complaint is that there is not enough sound insulation. In the private rooms you can hear people in the kitchen or on the stairs, and you can hear people’s alarms in the morning. I still recommend it however.

Really loved this spot. It's got everything you need and I'm pretty sure the owners know that travels are mostly staying to visit the nearby national park. They've got a binder full of hikes and things to do, a kitchen fully stocked with pots and pans, and a lounging area that can fit a few more people if you plan it right.

Perfect little spot in the heart of Winthrop. You won’t find anywhere else in town that offers all of the comforts of a hotel combined with the shared space/amenities and affordability of a hostel. Bonus- good vibes and great people!
