Staybridge Suites Eau Claire - Altoona by IHG

What a welcome after driving through 3 States! We experienced home away from home. A comfortable bed and fully supplied kitchen and bathroom. A tasty choice of food and drinks during an early evening social! In the morning we experienced a full breakfast selection ~ fresh waffles, omelets, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, oatmeal, yogurt, fresh fruits and more. Drinks ranged from freshly brewed coffee, orange juice, apple juice, milk and water to hot chocolate. And much more!!! The staff came to each diner and asked if the food was good. The dining area was spacious and clean. A large screen tv provided up to date news and weather for those interested. A daily newspaper was available at no cost. First and Last (but not least), the staff was pleasant, helpful and efficient!

Our stay was very comfortable, I couldn't believe the amenities provided, I want to return and try out the social hour advertised. We wanted a ground floor suite when making the reservation and the reply we received was it may not be available so we were surprised when we did receive it. The breakfast was great for me but my boyfriend needed meat though. The staff are very knowledgeable, The grounds are pretty lit up at night. The Jacuzzi was big and comfortably fit a lot of people.

Love staying here when in Eau Claire. Pool and hot tub are a bit small, and they need to enforce the no children in the hot tub rule. The continental breakfast is very good with plenty of seating. Nice outdoor space. Ample parking. Nice nearby stores and restaurants.

Very nice hotel meant for longer term stays with the suites. Rooms are like apartments. Good recognitions for diamond elite members. Fantastic continental breakfast. Short drive to Eau Claire amenities. One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Only con is that the Elevator sounds weird and is slow.

I have stayed at this location several times and keep coming back. It's a welcoming place which, during my most previous stay, was exceptional due to the Christmas decorations found throughout the hotel. The staff members were very professional and appeared to be happy in the performance of their various roles. The breakfast was robust and I particularly enjoyed the scones served during breakfast. The pool area was well kept and the temperature of the jacuzzi was just right. The open area where breakfast was served was also a wonderful gathering place for families throughout the day. Finally, the rooms were very clean and large enough to allow me to entertain with family.

Had a great time here while on a trip for work. My room was very nice with plenty of workspace. Even though I didn't attend any they offered social events which is very nice since most of us were there for two weeks. They offered a great breakfast every morning. If I'm ever in the area again I'll definitely stay here again!!

Our stay was very nice. Rooms were clean, beds were comfy, staff was friendly. The pool area was nice & not too busy and the breakfast offered a large variety including yogurt parfait bar. Would recommend to anyone needing a place in the Eau Claire area. Just wish they offered a discount for University students parents like some of the other hotels in the area.

My son and I love this hotel for our overnights. Unfortunately, on this last stay, we were directly under a kid(s) that sounded like he/she was running a track meet from 2:00 pm when we arrived until 9:00 pm. I didn’t complain because the “quiet hours” start at 10:00 pm, but I did pound on the ceiling at 9:00. It was incredibly irritating when all we wanted to do was relax. 8:00 the next morning I was woken up by the same running back and forth again. Next time I will call the front desk and request a 4th floor room when I book. Like I mentioned, we love this hotel - it’s too bad some people have no consideration for other guests who don’t want to hear stomping above their heads for 7 hours straight.
