Hilton Garden Inn Madison Downtown

Great style. Minimal and efficiently appointed lobby, desk and restaurant. We had many breakfast meals that were served or buffet. Friendly server kept my coffee coming. 5 large screens helped to see the networks news broadcasts and actually able to compare how they deliver each story. Close to University of Wisconsin at Madison. Main campus. Check out Bucky who attended a women’s hockey game and was very entertaining and Fascinating! But I wish they had a pool. 😔no swimming. 🏊🏼‍♀️ ☹️. Overall clean and efficient rooms.

Overall had a great stay! The staff were so nice, the hotel was very pet friendly. We did have a day where the morning breakfast staff didn't show and another that was knowingly going to be very busy that was understaffed in the kitchen but minor things in an overall great stay. We were in town for my dad's surgery at the UW and they were very accommodating of the varying aspects of our stay! Will be staying here again soon!

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel but Anna’s service was above and beyond. My dog had an Oncology appointment at the University. The hotel very accommodating for my dog. After checking out of our stay, we realized we forgot my dogs favorite toy in our room. When we called, Anna noted the room had not been cleaned yet and personally went and found the toy herself. Thank you Anna for saving the day! Your kind effort meant more to us than you know.

We decided to take a quick trip to Madison to enjoy the final days of fall. I wanted to stay in a 'walkable' location. This hotel was perfectly located in the heart of downtown, yet enough away from bars/noise to be a peaceful retreat at the end of the day. It was clean, well appointed, and the staff was friendly, and helpful. Originally, I had given less stars due to an uncomfortable mattress, however, the manager of the hotel reached out, told me he checked the mattress and agreed it was sub par. He then mailed me a hand written apology and included a certificate for a free overnight stay in the future. I was very pleasantly surprised, as I did not write a scathing review, only mentioned that the mattress wasn't the greatest. I was not expecting anything in return, not even a response. This type of customer service goes above and beyond, especially in today's world. I am so appreciative of his response, and would DEFINITELY RECOMMEND staying at this establishment.

Positive: Clean new hotel. Friendly staff. Convenient. Negative: Charged for parking with ramp next to hotel. Bathroom door was like a sliding barn door. Could hear everything from bathroom in the rest of the room.

We enjoyed all aspects of our stay. The hotel is well situated, clean, attractive and friendly.|Evacuating from Asheville after Helene, we stopped here on our way north. The hotel staff were kind, helpful and generous to us. Sonny at the front desk was especially considerate and supportive. Thank you Hilton Garden Inn Madison.

Not sure where to start. Location is awesome for right downtown and short walk to Camp Randall. Rooms were perfect. The breakfast, I’d go here to eat if I lived in Madison. All of our breakfasts were amazing.

This place feels very sterile. The dinner food is good and it's nice to eat outside in summer. Good location The rooms have no safe deposit box. Mattresses and pillows are on the soft side . The front desk staff are poorly informed and had to check with other staff to answer certain questions. It would help if there was an orientation sheet in each room explaining what amenities the room and hotel offered. They increase their prices shamelessly around certain events like football ( from $222 to over $400). They charge you for the smallest extras.
