The Madison Marquette Hotel

Great room, nice and clean and large. Stayed just one night and it was perfect. Felt secure with keypad locks and easy check in. One negative is parking. We have a new baby and the listing said free parking so we assumed there was a small lot but it’s just street parking which is limited to 2 hours. Ended up having to park 3 blocks away which was hard with a baby.

Visiting Wisco for parents weekend This place was a perfect combo of simplicity and convenience. Located just 2 miles from campus ubers back and forth to state street were $8. Nestled in delightful neighborhood with single family homes it had a safe family vibe. There is no front desk but rather a simple door code for the building and your room are provided by text. The rooms felt modern, clean and well appointed. The tv was way to small for the size of the room. The marquette cafe situated on the ground floor of the building had delicious breakfast options and descent coffee. Price was good for a very busy and expensive weekend in Madison if you wanted to stay closer to campus.

Location is great. Room was lacking. Shower puddles. Bathroom could have been cleaned much better. Hair in the shower/tub. This would be a great place if they put some TLC into it. Great neighborhood. We ate at the cafe downstairs which was convenient but the food was a 5/10. New ownership would take this place to where it needs to be.

Hard to rate the service when it is contact free. But anyone complaining about that should stay at a full service hotel. Good prices. Clean. Easy with two pups. Honestly no complaints at all. Madison doesn’t allow full house airbnbs so this is a good option

Room was clean, and beds were comfortable. It was quiet and close to so much! We will definitely stay again!!

Great east side location and reasonably priced. The large room with views in 2 directions was sparkling clean. The tv was a little small for that big wall and a small couch would be nice but overall comfortable digs. We highly recommend.

I have been happily staying with them for a few years during my annual trip to Madison. I was set to stay 9/11 but my Father died this past Thursday and the funeral is 9/11. I asked for a refund. They said no. On top of that there wasn’t even a “sorry for your loss”. I’m stunned by the heartless customer service. I hope many people read this and pass them by. While convenient for me, I will never stay there again!

The Marquette was perfect for our needs. We were three family members. The room was simply but expected for the price. The room was also clean and the bathroom bordered on excellent. We loved having the cafe downstairs in the morning. Parking requires a little flexibility but we were never more than a block away. Loved the cafe!
