Clean, neat, quiet. Solid location. Family friendly and located near hwy, town and food. One area to improve is breakfast. Area was nearly empty when I arrived 1.5 hour after it was open. Orange juice was empty for sometime, low on bread for toast, spills around the waffle area, eggs and sausage where pushed back and did not even know they were available. Coffee is NOT kept is same area and is a bit confusing..

The AmericInn in Merrill is my first choice any time I'm anywhere near Merrill. It is comfortable and clean, has a great location, and caters to every need. Kathy and her staff are helpful and knowledgeable. The breakfast is everything you could hope for and even starts at 5am during the week for all those who start their day early. All this and it is a great value.

When you walk in the place you can smell sewage. The whole place smells like it. It’s stomach churning how badly it smells. The rooms are a little bit better smelling. The heater in my room wouldn’t keep up at all and could barely keep it at 63°. I realize it’s -2 outside but still, it should be warmer in here. The blankets are thin and cheap and the rooms are dingy. They seemed to be cleaned often but not well kept. I stayed here last year and had a much better experience. Disappointed this time.

I love this place. The atmosphere when you walk in makes you instantly cozy and comfortable. Very clean and beautiful layout. The front desk employees are always so friendly. They really do care about you and your needs. The decor and halls were so clean..The pool and hot tub are very nice. The room is gorgeous. And my room was spotless. Every inch was clean. No dust or spot. I stayed in the suite with fireplace and jacuzzi. Wow, absolutely stunning. It was the best room I've been in. I've booked about 12 rooms this year and this one tops them all.

Quick overnight stay as we were headed to Roughing It In Style (a 5 star furniture store in Harshaw, WI), but the trip was too long to do in one day. Great overall facility, good breakfast, super comfortable king bed, water pressure in the shower was awesome! Couldn't ask for more!!

We reserved a Jacuzzi suite, minor things out of sorts- missing trim/tile around bathroom mirror and the paneling around bottom of Jacuzzi was loose. Positives- bedding was a nice texture against skin, pillows were fluffy and supportive, and mattress was very comfortable. Well placed lighting for different tasks.

My stay here is very enjoyable. Pretty much right next to the interstate, super clean room and the staff is absolutely amazing! Kathy, the morning manager, went completely above and beyond and is super nice. I would definitely stay here again

Rude and uncaring staff started breaking down the breakfast bar at least 10 minutes before 9 When I’m fiddling with the waffle machine trying to see why it’s not working the Hotel Employee is watching me and not saying anything When I go to the front desk to complain I realize she works there and was responsible for breaking down the breakfast bar early When i talked to the manager when she returns she defiantly said she looked at the security cameras and it was in deed 9:00 that the clock (she pointed at) was WRONG!! And so is Apple and Verizon lol
