Holiday Inn Express St. Croix Valley, an IHG Hotel

This hotel exceeded so many expectations! Great staff, clean comfortable rooms, all around, a great place to stay! I didn't use the pool, but it looked very fun and I was wishing that I brought my swim suit. The breakfast was quite a surprise, so many options, and the area was kept stocked and clean!

This is a great place to stay, which i will again. Very friendly staff (made you feel important and home like). Very quiet, clean and great ammenaties. Breakfast is greatand well stocked with many choices and Hot coffee

The hotel does great at what I needed. The room was clean and well kept. Hotel was quiet, had decently comfortable beds, okay pillows and a window with a view of the surrounding area. They also had a nice employee that greets you when entering. I really only have three negatives things about the hotel. 1. The fridge would freeze drinks somehow. Even when not in the freezer portion. 2. The water pressure for the shower was lacking. Not a big deal but worth mentioning. 3. During breakfast the gravy for biscuit and gravy was room temperature. These are nitpicks but add up.

Jackie was the frontal girl. She was so polite and went above and beyond to make it the best stay. We absolutely loved the double king room! Bummed the sauna was not working other than that, it was clean and food was good too. Thank you!

Hotel is conveniently located, quiet and comfortable. breakfast is good, but there’s no coffee after breakfast closes. I specifically booked a more expensive suite so I could TV cast as advertised to enjoy streaming shows before bed. Unfortunately, the advertised casting didn’t work and the hotel expected me to contact the third-party vendor to fix it. And there's no other way to log into streaming apps on these tvs. Seems holiday inn is not ready for this technology. The bathtub was clogged, which caused a long delay in showering waiting on maintenance. Weirdly the front desk fought me about a late checkout. No shower for me? Regardless you can’t find out if you’ll get a late check out until mid morning the day of. Front desk personnel were rude and dismissive. General manager was very helpful. They are doing construction on the second floor, but this was not disclosed before I booked. it felt like an earthquake below me. A few times I felt nauseated. Construction materials and a dumpster blocked the exit near my room so I had to enter further from my room than would otherwise be necessary. And the elevator was often in use by construction workers leading to very long waits. These guys weren't carrying materials and could have taken the steps up one flight. Lighting in the suite was horrible for desk work. I could barely see my laptop. There is a mini fridge, but it’s really hard to access because a couch blocks it. In hindsight, I should’ve saved money and got a standard room.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in St. Croix Falls for a wedding. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room perfectly suited our needs, with a separate area and TV for the kids. They loved the pool. The continental breakfast was great and fully stocked. We loved the small detail of including a firm pillow and a soft pillow. It led to good sleep. Overall, I would recommend this hotel.

Very clean and decent value. We had a king suite and it was very comfortable with king size bed, fridge and mwave but not used. Also good tv and service. Nice location as well with Interstate Park and Straight Lake and golf courses within 5-20 minutes. Definitely a return location for use. Thank you staff.

This is our go-to hotel when we are staying in the area. The staff is always so warm and welcoming. In our last stay, we tried out the new 2 King bed rooms - and we loved this new option. We’ll be back!
