Hilton Garden Inn Wausau

Definitely an 'above average' Hilton Garden Inn. Very nice common areas and rooms. Nice pool, hot tub and kiddie pool/splash pad thingy. Beds and Bedding were very comfortable. The restaurant connected to the hotel is great! Not just great for a hotel restaurant, it's legit a great restaurant.

I consistently choose this hotel when I'm in town for business because the service and hospitality are consistently outstanding. The attached restaurant is always bustling in the evenings and offers a truly innovative menu. While it might seem unusual for a hotel restaurant to be such a popular destination, this one is more than just a place to eat – it's a memorable dining experience. The rooms are modern, impeccably clean, and well-maintained. As a Lifetime Diamond member with many years of Hilton stays under my belt, I can confidently say this hotel is among the best I've encountered.

Definitely one of the better Hilton hotels I’ve stayed in. Still feels very new, very clean, and great service. Front desk staff are very friendly. While a bit expensive, it’s one of the best hotels in Wausau

This was one of the worst nights I’ve ever spent in a hotel, the giant ski party was so loud and scattered (all non party members should have been moved to a different floor) the noise around the room through the windows was ATROCIOUS is there any soundproofing or insulation? The restaurant smell permeated the hallways with a liquid smoke scent akin to burger king. I came for the cleanliness and the reviews but honestly $288/night for interrupted sleep, awful wifi, amenities so full they were unusable. No roll away beds, no extra towels or blankets or comforts I have several more appointments in the area and I’m sorry to say I can’t justify opting to book here again.

$250 per night, not worth it at all. Hilton disappointed this time. Seems to be a nice place to stay, but everything is so cheap and not as clean as it on the pictures Pillows are like a rock, we were not able to sleep all night. Also heater was extremely loud. No breakfast included. Pool and spa only open till 10pm. So if you stay late at the ski area you won’t be able to get relaxed at the spa after that.

This place was built in 2017 and looks and smells like it’s brand new. Super clean, well kept and great location. Lobby was beautiful and restaurant Van Acre was super nice.

Shame on the restaurant! Called earlier in the day to make a reservation for 2 at 6:30! Specifically requesting a booth with the gal whom took our call! We arrived at 6:20, waited until 6:50 to even be seated and not at a booth like we requested. What’s the point of reservations if they’re not guaranteed. We took our money elsewhere and will NOT be back. That’s piss poor management

The room itself is beautiful and the staff was very welcoming and helpful. However, trying to sleep was a nightmare. The curtains are so thin I could still see so much light making it hard to sleep. The sound of the room next to me flushing the toilet all night long causing the water to run was so loud it woke me up several times even over the white noise I was playing.
