★★★★★We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Rose Eden. David and Yvonne are very knowledgeable about the area, and gave us a lot of great information about transportation and places to eat and drink. Our cottage was clean and comfortable, and there is a coffee shop, a farm-to-table restaurant, a winery, and two lobster shacks within a few minutes' walk. The beach at Hadley Point is less than a half-mile, and we took our dog for a walk there almost every morning. Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor are easy to get to on the Island Explorer shuttle, and there is a shuttle stop at the Hadley Point Campground just a five minute walk from the cottages. We definitely recommend.

NillWe had an absolutely wonderful stay at this charming cottage in Bar Harbor, Maine! The cottage was cozy, clean, and perfectly located for exploring Acadia National Park and the surrounding area. The owners were friendly and welcoming, and the cottage had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was ideal - just a short drive from the park entrance and shops and restaurants in Bar Harbor. We would highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a relaxing and peaceful getaway!

★★★★★We had a great stay at our Rose Eden Cottage. Our hosts David and Yvonne could not have been more helpful and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. They know the area as well as anyone could do and gave us lots of great tips and information which helped make our stay a memorable one. Our accommodation was very comfortable and clean and just what we needed, with lobster shack, coffee shop, restaurant and winery all within walking distance and many other attractions including Acadia National Park and the lovely town of Bar Harbor only a short drive away. Would thoroughly recommend.

NillA great, reasonably priced cottage to stay away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Bar Harbor. Lots of local seafood shacks to eat at (rather than paying street parking downtown, which is $2-$4 per hr). Also nice to have a dedicated parking spot and can do laundry for an extra $6. Check out the seafood spot C-Ray walking distance that has a free fire pit while enjoying food/drinks! Didn’t try the other local restaurants as they were either closed or outside of the budget. Overall a great place to stay.

NillWhat a great place to stay. Very clean and comfortable, great location away from the crowd; but only a short drive. We loved the built-in shelves to organize our things in the room. Grounds are very nice with outdoor seating, firepit, and even a grill. Like a home away from home. Got great advice from the front desk on places to check out. Enjoyed the beach nearby for sunsets. Spent our evenings nearby. Next door is a nice cafe and coffee shop. We were also thrilled to be able to do laundry one night for just a small fee. Josies Cafe, a town or two over on our way south, was sooo good! Thank you Yvonne for great tips! Hope to come back again some time.

NillWe loved staying at Rose Eden cottages! Upon arrival, check-in was very easy and the host was very welcoming. It is very dog friendly. Our two dogs were given treats during check-in by the host. The cottages are so cute! Our cottage was very clean and a perfect size for me, my husband, and our dogs. It’s about a ten minute drive to downtown which was perfect. There are two small restaurants right near the cottages. We didn’t get to try Rose Eden Lobster, but the pizza at Sweet Peas Cafe was phenomenal. The host recommended this to us when I asked for pizza places nearby. We ordered it three times during our stay! The WiFi in the cottages was not the greatest, but we weren’t there for the WiFi so it didn’t bother us at all. Overall, Rose Eden Cottages is a great place to stay while visiting Bar Harbor! We would definitely stay again when traveling to Bar Harbor area.

NillYvonne was very nice and helpful. We didn't get to meet her partner. Cottage #10 was super clean, charming and comfortable for my husband and me during our 5 day 4 night trip to acadia. The location is superb, <15 min to bar harbor and the visitor's center/the loop. The bed was super comfy and supportive, exactly what we needed after long days of hiking. Plenty of storage and thoughtful touches that just make sense. It was great to have a microwave, mini fridge and plates/cutlery. The grounds are extremely well maintained and lovely with all the plants and flowers on each stoop! The wifi was not very dependable, keep in mind if you need to get work done. Overall a wonderful experience!!

★★★★★Rose Eden Cottages was a dream come true! I had originally booked a cottage for 2021 but then COVID messed with my plans. It was WELL worth the wait. They welcomed my Rottweiler with open arms. Yvonne and David are both great, every step of the way! The cottages and grounds are friggin adorable. Like really, everything is so cute. The playground is a great addition. The fire pits and gazebos add even more charm! The perfect distance from Acadia National Park. If we ever venture up to Bar Harbor again, Rose Eden Cottages will be our accommodations without question. I look forward to recommending everyone I know to Rose Eden!
