NillOur stay at this hotel was indeed very relaxing. We made a soecial reservation to have oceanview front and near the pool. We lived that it’s on the highest floor as we can also see the sunsets and sunrises without any distraction of the view. All the staff were very friendly and nice (front desk or pool side). However, I would like to experience the Roosevelt suite my mom and sister accidentally reserved before. Over all, I loved the experience. Will definitely book again if we ever visit Bar Harbor again.

NillTruly disappointing. I love Maine, Bar Harbor, and BHR, come almost every year. The customer service was trash, Bing at the front desk was dismissive and rude. Our "room with a view" was of the AC units and a rooftop. Front desk says this “was an upgraded room and we are lucky we weren’t down the hill”… okay thanks. Carpet smells of dog urine and water does not get hot. For $500 a night I would rather camp. Never again.

NillThe Bar Harbor Regency was wonderful! The rooms were clean and very comfortable. Our room had a beautiful view over Frenchman’s Bay with a nice balcony too! A couple of the restaurant staff were a bit rude, but for the good food and amazing views, we were able to overlook that!

NillOur room is clean and the grounds are impeccable! Our 9th trip back and the blueberry beer and the mushroom pizza is to die for. The ocean front room brings us joy and memories each and every year!!! Thank you!

NillReturning customer, never to return again. Fool me once, shame on you, twice- on me… yeah, yeah. they Messed up our room. twice! And the front desk staff couldn’t have cared less to do anything about it. The cleaning staff is nice, but the room makes you wish you brought your own bleach wipes. Ugh. you’ll easily see the drops and remnants of the previous guests. You can’t enjoy the balcony because your upstairs neighbors AC unit leaks onto yours… oh, and the bed is soooo worn!!! You have to get over the hump in the middle to snuggle your love one! next time we will be staying closer to town … the value of my $$ will go farther

NillThe hotel is a nice property in a beautiful setting, offering stunning views. But the resort does shoe it's age and is screaming for maintenance. Air Conditions are terribly loud and inefficient. Carpets, restaurant labels etc. are worn and should be replaced. Specially if you look at the prices they are asking for food and living. Pricing stipulates "Premium" it's condition is "upper mediocre well used ...." So please do invest some money. Thanks so much. Serving food and drinks at the Lobster Pound on cheap plastic is an ecological disaster. Specially if you consider, that the resort does serve a national park. It's well understood, that because of the pool area no glas should be used. But those cheap cups, plates and services are simply blown in to the Atlantic by the wind. We all know, to cure those, nature will have several thousand years for. This is a shame, must be stopped immediately and if not, fined! There is good, unbreakable tableware available, that can be used, does look nice and isn't ending up in the Ocean. Generations after will be more than happy about 😀

NillThe Management here is so BAD! They treat there housekeepers so wrong and they’re just humans and so young. My room was okay, but the people at the front desk messed up our reservation and made me very unhappy. And the pool isn’t even clean. And no dog rooms so poop was everywhere.
