Tolsona Lake Lodge

Room was clean and welcoming. Bed felt good after a day playing in the snow. We enjoyed some tasty food. I had a wonderful burger and fries and the hubster had some shrimp. The owner is quite gracious, a good cook, and quick to grab you a new beer. We enjoyed our time and felt at home.

Rustic, clean, gorgeous view. Really friendly and pets are welcome in the cabin. Shawn is the cook and he is great. Definitely recommend this place. We stayed 2 nights on our way home and really enjoyed it.

One of the most beautiful places on our way cycling from Argentina to Anchorage. An amazing lake view and great hospitality from the new manager and all the staff! We loved staying there for a night and had a delicious dinner from the salad bar. Highly recommended!

Great food, nice people, beautiful views, thanks for keeping the lodge alive. New management make the difference, we refuse to eat at the princess Ora couple other local establishments since they are low quality. I've been in Glennallen for 38 years and this one is a gem. Eat here, support tradition.

Highly recommend it! A heaven in the woods! Amazing view ... The owner is incredibly kind. I arrived very late, and the kitchen was closed, but the owner went out of his way to turn on the grill and made me the best fish ever.

It was a lake view hotel and has a very clean room with good smell when entered....pretty quiet in surrounding. All staff were so nice and kind.. Rib eye steak was so delicious. It was a pretty large steak for one person. Nice to have a parking spot in front of our room.

Ate at the lodge a few months ago. They had the most fabulous food! Not sure what happened over the course of a couple of months but when we have family from out of town bring them here and it has to be the worst food/service I've ever had the chagrin to have to pay for. Absolutely the most awful food/let's serve hot orange juice and expect you to pay for it. It's almost like they hired a cook straight out of prison and that's all he knows how to make..... prison food.

Great history, food, location, and service. The staff is super friendly and Shawn makes the best eggs and brisket! Oh and the view is amazing as well!
