Hot tub was cold upon arrival and was not even close to being usable until well into the next day|Air return vent just inside the coded door (first thing to see upon arrival) completely full of dust|Floors were dusty/hairballs/dust balls/rug fibers as you say should not have been there upon arrival |Rug pad was bunched up under the rug in the living room which was a tripping hazard - clearly should have been fixed, if the rug was vacuumed the humps in it would have been noticed|My daughter said there were crumbs on the rug upstairs - clearly not vacuumed/swept.|Oven did not work - an alternative was brought out Tuesday but at that point we had no use for it|No aluminum foil was provided - Michael brought it Tuesday along with the oven but we had no other family meals planned other than our first two nights|1/2 eaten box of doughnuts left in closet - I left them|3 opened bags of Byrds cookies were left in downstairs kitchen - I threw them away |Mouse droppings on pan lids in pantry|Mouse ate through our bag of pistachios in pantry - $25 bag of pistachios by the way we had to throw away|Mouse ate through a packet of hot chocolate - had to throw it away|The provided marshmallow sticks/skewers needed to be cleaned before use - were full of burnt marshmallows - clearly not cleaned|Cigarette butts containers on deck were all full and butts were hanging out of them|Piles of leaves were swept under the picnic table and the rug which I assumed belonged in front of the master bedroom door was thrown on top of the table (unsanitary)|The air hockey table does not work properly - some of the air holes are plugged or not working I assume because the puck stopped in a certain area of the table|The foosball table did not operate smoothly at all|Tips were missing from the pool cues - only one or two were actually usable|Master Bedroom whirlpool tub shot out black mold/sediment when turned on then would not turn off. I had to pull the access door and unplug it which by the way the junction box is open and not safe|There was a dirty sock and dust under the couch in the Master Bedroom||And although these issues did not affect our stay it shows a lack of care and maintenance:||The stairs are loose|Several light bulbs are burned out in and outside the house|Sheet of broken glass thrown out by the trash cans|There is a piece of railing out on the deck that is not stable/loose|Cobwebs throughout the house in high places

** ALERT to not trust the management staff at Bear Paw Lodge. Untrustworthy front desk and poor Guest Service Beautiful property, fancy Bachelor Gulch amenities Unfortunately very substandard customer service We had nice a two week stay at Bear Paw Lodge The NEGATIVE: I left a Gift in decorative packaging at the Front Desk with name in bold print for a friend to pick up The item was remembered and identified, but “went missing” or “was lost” in their staff of 2 individuals. I tried in every way to recover or reclaim the gift of ~$100 The management had a single conversation saying we will not be able to replace the items or reimburse for it. I spoke with Holly Emery- Assistant manager Dan Lipson - General manager Neither of these two Vail Resorts managers had apologies and no “ability to resolve the situation”, which is unfortunate as this is how they respect dedicated guests and respond designated items left in their possession.

We had the most amazing stay at Bear Paw Lodge. We were in a 2 bedroom 2 1/2 bath unit. The unit was slope side and we loved sitting on the balcony and watching the deer in the morning and the hikers in the afternoon. The pool and hot tub was perfect and never crowded. We hiked down to the Ritz for dinner and drinks on the patio one evening and took the Beaver Creek shuttle back to Bear Paw. The unit does not have AC and coming from an area where AC is common I arranged to have portable AC units installed in our unit. The staff at Bear Paw Lodge recommended a company and the owner came the day of check in and got the units installed. It was perfect and highly recommend for those who want AC. We can’t wait until our next visit to Bear Paw Lodge!

Bear Paw Lodge is one of our favorite spots! We fell in love with this area last summer. It will become a reoccurring destination for our family. Our 2 bedroom 2 1/2 bath unit was perfect. The balcony was slope side which was so nice for sitting out in the morning with coffee to watch the wildlife. The only improvement I could suggest is adding AC (even window units for the bedrooms). We worked with a local company to get portable A/C units installed for our visit. The covered reserved parking was nice, but agree the space was tight for a full size SUV. We loved the pool and hot tub area. Highly recommend hiking down to the Ritz for drinks on the patio/yard area.

The location is wonderful, access to all things is great. The building is nice. We got a unit that needed some new mattresses and updating. Have stayed at Bear Paw before and liked what we had. We spent a lot, so hey we wanted some luxury, but is was a bit rustic and cramped for our family of six. They were generous after we stayed and offered some money back for our inconvenience... so all is well that ends well. Still would have preferred a better unit! Would make sure they show you your exact unit before paying;)!

True ski in and ski out!! Almost half way up the mountain in Bachelor's Gulch. Gorgeous views and the entire property is very well maintained. Multiple hot tubs for the end of a long ski day and a pool for the kiddos. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Our favorite place to stay in the Beaver Creek.

Awesome condo! Beautifully & comfortably decorated. Basic necessities made available in the kitchen. Extra blankets & pillows were also available for personal preferences and comfort. My husband & I are hot by nature which can be uncomfortable, at best. We currently reside in Georgia and we are accustomed to ceiling fans, in every room in our own home, which keep the air moving and circulating, so it would have been very nice to have them in the condo, as well, at least in bdrms & main moving area. Having grown up in CO, we know the climate has changed in CO, over the years, but not necessarily for the better. The temp was pretty cool in the evenings, in the mtns., but during the day it was hot, sticky & uncomfortable especially in the bathrooms, while trying to apply makeup, dry hair, etc. I dragged around a box fan, from room to room, for sleeping, when there was little to no air circulating and no breeze to speak of. I also used a box fan in the bathroom (daily) so I could get ready, while applying makeup & drying hair. It’s impossible to apply makeup when you’re perspiring & it might be best to simply leave your makeup at home or bring along only “basics.” Nice, large outdoor gas grill made cooking swift, convenient & easy! Kitchen appliances were very nice too. Nice quiet D/W! Big, roomy frig & nice stove / oven. There was also a nice, large washer & dryer which was convenient. The bistro table, on deck, was cute, but not very comfy, unfortunately. The one rocker was also pretty, but not comfortable to sit in either. We were hoping to spend quite a bit of time outside, but that simply did not happen because we weren’t comfortable. The rest of our family stayed in a separate three bdrm. condo & had two counter height table / chair sets on their deck & that set up was much nicer for both eating & sitting and / or relaxing. Our family ate most meals in our 2 bdrm condo., which nicely accommodated all seven of us, although the table seemed a bit over scaled for the dining area. We moved the living area furniture around a bit & it provided us all w/ ample room. Dimmer light switches were a nice addition & added comfort and pleasant ambiance. Overall, I have nothing but praise! We enjoyed our stay, very much & hope to rtn soon. In closing, I must add, there was quite a bit of yelling, horsing a round & even some profanity coming from the pool area for three of the four days we stayed. I think property management may need to enforce “pool rules,” a bit more strictly.

My wife, 11 year old and I just got back from four days staying at the Bear Paw Lodge for our annual ski trip. We have stayed at other properties at Beaver Creek and this was by far our favorite. Whitney who reached out to us prior to our arrival did a wonderful job of welcoming us to the property, making sure we had everything we could possible need, and answered any questions that we had. The property is truly the top of the line of the ski in/out places in Beaver Creek. The three large hot tubs and the big heated pool were a God send after skiing all day. This is my favorite place and I've skied everywhere from Alta to Mount Tremblant to Heavenly to Park City.
