Highly recommend Ponderosa Lodge to all my friends and family. We stayed in the Riverside Loft Cabin and the place exceeded our expectations on every level. The Cabin was immaculately clean stocked with everything you need. With tall windows that look out to the deck where you will find a hot tub, picnic table and BBQ grill AND a fire pit we cooked s’mores at night. In the morning we seen Elk and Wild turkeys from the windows. It was one of the best experiences of my life. We will be back!! Thank you Ponderosa Lodge literally the best!!

We love the Ponderosa Lodge on Fall River as a return guest. It is clean, quiet and cozy with deer, elk and turkeys right on the property. We adore the balconies over the river. It is close to all and only a few miles to entrance of Ricky Mountain National Park. The hospitality is fantastic -Thank you to Darrell, Katie, Jaron and Aspen. The fireplaces are cozy in fall/winter and beds comfy. Just a perfect stay, as usual.🥰

A great option for Rocky Mountain/Estes Park travel. It’s located about 5 minutes from town and equally as close to the Fall River entrance of RMNP (15 minute drive from Beaver Meadows depending on traffic). Upon checking in, the host was very friendly/informative. Our room was clean, cozy and had everything we could possibly need. The property itself is small. It’s located next to a raging river, which was cool. We personally didn’t encounter any wildlife during our stay, but were told to be vigilant and not leave any food in the car. The parking is first come first serve if you want a spot close to your room. I would totally stay here again.

Rustic cabin on the river with private hot tub was our weekend getaway. So much wildlife and beautiful fall colors. We felt like we were out in the woods only seeing other people when we ventured out. Watched big elk bulls , wild turkeys , foxes, white tail deer , and an array of beautiful birds from the porch. This hotel is just minutes from Rocky Mountain National Park entrance. We were able to see a huge herd of elk there one morning. | Need to knows:|Need a car during off season. There is a shuttle during peak season but we just missed it. Cabin was a little small for advertised 6 persons, but we were out in nature a lot. Beds were comfortable, rooms small.

My husband and I stayed here in May of 2024 and loved it. The owners were wonderful. Anything we needed, they were there to help. The room decor was perfect for the area as you will see from the photos. We enjoyed sitting on deck area by the stream and even had the opportunity to watch a baby elk get back with her mother after being hit by a car.

After our other accommodations fell through at the very last minute, we called Ponderosa Lodge hoping they had what we were looking for. They answered the phone right away and got us booked for a same-day arrival without issue. The bed was comfortable, all facilities very clean, and the WiFi, which we used to stream a basketball game on our laptop, was super fast. The host is so friendly and made sure we had all the information we needed for a smooth arrival and wonderful stay. The location to town and the Fall River RMNP is perfect, about half way between each. We can’t wait to return!

A heavenly place full of friendly people, everyone is to be congratulated, the place is clean, the beds are extremely comfortable and the view is beautiful. I recommend it to anyone who wants to visit Rocky Mountain, who should say goodbye to the Podenderosa Lounge, one of the most beautiful places I have had the opportunity to visit. Incredible place. We will definitely stay here again.

Warm cookies at check in, board games and books to borrow, sleds and stacked firewood, not to mention the burbling river and the whispering pines.... This was our 2nd stay at the Ponderosa Lodge during a snowy season and we love it! We booked the riverfront cabin for our multi gen family trip. It's a cozy stay, fully outfitted with all one needs, including a well equipped kitchen - we made a small thanksgiving feast!
