Tippy Canoe Lodge

We went through a website to book the lodge however the management on site has nothing to do with the lodging with whom you book through . It is a gated area so when it came to adding or taking people off the list for who can stay or visit the lodge you book was a Hassel. The scenery was beautiful 😍 We saw 2 bears and heard a big bear. There were some storms that came through and knocked trees down in the road causing people to be blocked in and even vehicle damage. The roads are very steep be sure to have adequate vehicle. The lodge we booked #23 had an infestation of ground hornets so the hot tub could not be utilized. Also in the rules of the stay you are to strip the beds and I don't believe the last people did because my girlfriends pillow had orange crusty stuff on it like maccaroni and cheese. Other than that the lodge was beautiful and clean there were little things left by others that could be utilized such as seasonings and odds and ends.There are other things to do such as golf,swim,paddle board, all for a separate cost. It is really nice to getaway from reality and soak up nature. Plenty of hiking and fresh air.

Pro it is Spacious and location great. Cons cottage needs deep cleaning. Sofas living and den well worn and deep soiling. Floors in kitchen and living area deep soil in wood.
