Branding Iron Apartments

It used to be a run-down motel, in a very unsafe neighborhood on Colfax. But the new owners have fixed them up into nice studios. The city has done some cleaning up also. Making the area a safer and nicer place.

Very suspicious that you can’t leave a review anywhere on the web for Brandin Iron Apartments… The owner was previously a lawyer so these apartments cling on to the bare minimum requirements of what the state recognizes as legal housing. There are too many things about the unit I rented to fully express here but I will say: If you want to experience gentrification first hand, this is the place to be. Overpriced for barely 300 sq ft but for desperate renters like myself it was my last resort. I voluntarily chose to be homeless rather than residing here another minute. At least they finally refunded my security/pet deposit after I pestered them for a couple months. PS this building is definitely haunted.

Putting up some staff in this place. Overall, not terrible. Roy, the mgr, is very nice and very helpful. The rooms are about what I expected. Clean, has a working refrigerator and microwave. Shower is hot with good pressure. Beds are old but not awful. Overall, for East Colfax, a good value for the price.

Pretty clean. The showers in certain rooms are just gross but I think thats due more to rust than actual dirt. Crackheads knock on the door all hours of the night. Screaming fights and crashing once it runs out. Drug dealers all over. What do you want, it's Colfax. No mice and minimum roaches (only saw maybe 2-3 and it was only one room). Bed bugs. I don't think they're actually bedbugs. I think they're mites but they're still in the beds. Its not the cheapest. It's the same price as every other hotel on this street. Don't take any complaints to management. They don't do anything. All over, not terrible. There are definitely worse places to go to around here.

Worst 65. Dollar a night room. Dirty and no way to hook up TV. Lack of plug ins...old fashioned box took 2 plug ins and TV, refrigerator. Only 2 outlets and if you moved room around still wouldn't work. Clearly room needs cleaned up and a surge protector to run TV. Torn up dressers. I paid less and had better room. The owner is on site they charge for remote and key. lol ant hook up TV. Worst ever so dirty!!

I am here for 10 days thanks to a donation from a local charity, a cost to the charity of $550. it is relatively scary here with constant heavy drug activity, prostitution, people knocking on your door looking to buy, sell, or offer. I've just spent 2 hours sanitizing my room to make it safe for 1 with health issues to stay for such a long period. Sadly if I were to leave now, the charity would lose that money. although the manager Roy is extremely kind, the facilities itself have some serious health issues as well as drug activity. although I would not say do not stay here this is a location, that is not for everyone, I would use Extreme Caution while considering your options.

Prob use to be bad but this is best motel I've found and been to most around here they have great price and willing to work with you as long as you show you want to be long term tenant. And usually u can call front desk and they are perfectly cool but since couple days ago phone started acting up but should be fixed pretty soon. Also they do let u smoke don't know what other guy talking about prob use to not allow it but as long as u ask for smoking room they'll let u smoke and it doesn't matter if u smoke tobacco or some green this one of the few hotels that doesn't care which u decide to smoke and doesn't charge a damn hundred dollar fee for smoking some nice green lol made a high ryme cuz it's that time

I stayed at this motel for 47 days back in 1975 when I was attending Air Force Training for Civilians at Lowery AFB which is closed down since. The daily cost per day was $15. Sad to see it turned into a crime area
