NillGuests beware. The owner, for lack of a better word, is lazy. When I arrived, the room had two double beds and was already paid for ahead of time. My co-worker and I shared this room. The owner decided that he didn't charge enough after the fact and wanted more money. I should have already taken this as a hint that things were not going to go well. I stayed there for five days and this was for work. I work outside in the heat with a construction crew. We had to switch rooms on the third night. The second night, the ac went out on us, and when we reported it to the owner, he didn't want to fix it right away. He reluctantly brings up a smaller unit and puts a board around it, causing the heat to build up around the ac and this makes it go out again for the third night. We had asked to be moved to a different room on the second night to avoid this issue. The owner reluctantly allows us to move to a different room on the third night. The fourth night comes around we arrive and the owner had not changed towels. Not once has the owner changed towels for us. I had to ask for towels and he only gives us enough towels for two people for one day. We need to take showers daily. I had to take him the dirty towels to get clean towels. So when friday came around I had just asked for wash cloths, the small towels, the owner goes on a tirade that I should not be asking for towels daily. Again, i didnt ask for a full set of towels, just the small washcloths. Motels/hotels should provide towels if a customer needs this. I didn't ask for a whole set of towels just the small one and the owner wants to berate me and argue with me about towels and service. We haven't asked for much of anything. This owner hasn't changed our towels and expects us to have unsanitary conditions. He leaves us with dirty towels. We didn't ask him to clean the room, make the beds or anything like that. Just asked for a room with working ac and clean towels. After the owner tried to argue with me about towels, he decided to retaliate against my co-worker and not extend his stay when he had nothing to do about the towel request. This owner lacks customer service, professionalism, and common decency. If you want to have an unsanitary experience with a side of rudeness and unwelcoming feeling, this is your place.

NillI’ve stayed for three days. I like the room. I’m a travel nurse, working night shifts. I got off of work this am and asked if I could book 2 more days. He said no, this is a very expensive time, Thursday through the weekend. So you have to leave.

NillFeel as though most people with negative reviews had isolated issues or lofty expectations for what they were purchasing. Comfortable room for the price, stopped by for 1 night on a road trip. Extremely affordable rooms, didn't have to worry about leaving our loaded car in the lot because it was very clean, well lit, and lots of security cameras. Rooms were clean and bed was pretty comfortable. Polite man greeted us and checked us in and out the next morning.

NillI stayed at the motel and was greeted by a very nice lady and she is very proud of all of the updates that they have done to this motel. This motel is very up-to-date at a fair value for this small town and it is pretty quiet. I will definitely be staying there again when I have to travel back for work.

NillMy room was clean and a good size. It looked like it was decorated by a grandma but in a charming way. I felt decently safe in this location as a lone female traveler. The man at the front desk was also very nice. They do charge a $20 refundable deposit and I wasn’t aware of that until I went to check in.

★★★My husband and I booked this motel for two nights during an emergency visit to the area. It was incredibly inexpensive compared to alternatives ($44/night) and we thought it looked charming when we drove by. We were hoping we'd found a little locally owned diamond in the rough.||The charm ended once we entered the room. All mismatched furniture and very dated fixtures and accessories ("comforters", art work, phone, etc) - it was truly was reminiscent of a thrift store. Colored towels, which makes me worry about how hot the wash is when they are laundered. From the moment you enter the lobby to your short walk to your room you are given not so subtle hints about the typical guests at this motel in the form of signage ("no spitting", "no throwing cigarette butts on the ground", "no pets", a short list in red of what *not* to flush) and from the owner's quick interrogation upon check in (No pets? No cat? No dog? No kids? No babies?). The room was carpeted in those carpet tiles which always makes me wonder what happened that made the owner decide that was the best idea for flooring.||We were there two nights. On our second day, we left at 9am and returned at 9pm to find that we'd had no housekeeping visit.||On a good note, the room was clean (when we arrived), warm, and quiet. The owners were very nice and I got the feeling that had we asked for anything, they'd have done their best to accommodate. If we're in a bind again, we'll consider this motel. Unfortunately though, it's not the kind of place I'd put visiting family up in.
