NillIt was the most peaceful, relaxing, private, coziest room I have ever stayed in my life. It was perfect for me. I loved the shower and how the whole room was set up! The mattresses on both of the beds were the softest, comfortable, wake up refreshed, need one of them for home type sleep I have ever had. The owners and the Services were spectacular and they were the nicest, most polite, caring, compassion having people I have ever came in contact with.

NillThe rooms are updated and clean, I have not seen one bug dead or alive anywhere on property.! I cannot stress how rarely you'll run into a hotel like that around lakeland, especially within the same price range. I also feel super safe at night with the bright lights that come on outside every door when it gets dark. The whole motel lights up . Downtown is directly beside the motel so the location is perfect to explore lakeland. I'm pretty impressed and definitely recommend staying here . Family or business trip alike it is a great find .

NillThe workers are friendly and some of the rooms are nice. No bugs, comfortable beds. The view is beautiful over Lake Wire. The price is a little high for what they offer or I would've given it more stars. It's 3/31/18 today and it's a wonderful view here.

NillThe owners reflect quality in the service they provide. I have had a room with my husband for a couple of months and now that we are on our way it feels like I will be missing something. This hotel is within walking distance of so many great restaurants and downtown shops (I love the women's community outreach boutique Button's,) but the

★★★Pros:||||[1] Some rooms have a great view of Lake Wire, with a second door opening to a balcony overlooking the lake.||[2] A clean, deep-water pool (9 ft in the deep end).||[3] A friendly housecleaning staff who provide more housecleaning services than would be expected for the room price; this is noticed if you stay more than a day or two.||[4] Next door to the hotel in walking distance is the Swan Brewery, a craft beer brewery with a wonderful atmosphere, outdoor seating, both family and pet friendly (closed during the virus however).||[5] Strong and reliable Wi-Fi connectivity due to recent upgrades.||[6] The path around Lake Wire is great for jogging or walking (0.75 miles one lap around).||||Cons:||||[1] There is a recurring clientele of drug users, prostitutes, and domestic abusers at the hotel. This is not most guests; but their presence is quite clear to anyone who has stayed at the hotel for a while.||[2] There is a police presence at the hotel 2-3 times a week related to [1].||[3] A very noticeable marijuana smell permeates the air during some parts of the day (early mornings and late afternoons in particular).||[4] While rooms on the west side of the hotel with the lake view (about 25% of all rooms) are good, the other rooms without views are bleak.||[5] Only basic cable TV is provided; the hotel recently downgraded cable services to eliminate premium channels.||[6] Many guests do not have automobiles and rely on bicycles or walking for transportation; no stores or restaurants within about a 1-mile radius presents a problem for such guests.||[7] No lobby services such as continental breakfasts or computer access are available.||||Conclusion:||||The Lake Wire Inn is preferable to similar budget hotels in the area – specifically, hotels along Memorial Blvd (US-92) 1 ½ miles to the north.||It is a small hotel, with all rooms facing the same central parking lot, so general problems are noticeable to most guests. ||It is a hotel built in the 1950’s or 1960’s, previously owned by hotel chains such as TraveLodge, accordingly the rooms have a dated quality.||While I would not recommend the hotel to families - for adults staying in the west-side lake view rooms for a few days or more, the benefits outweigh the disadvantages.

NillI have been staying there this past week and it has been amazing and would recommend it for anyone! They are very nice and polite. I paid for a week and every day I come back from work to a clean room and fresh towels! I think it is a family that runs the inn but they definite make you feel like your at home! They younger guy that works in the front is absolutely amazing as well.
