Best Motel

Omgggg I love this motel great housekeeping great service the manger workiers sll are polite they treat you n your family with love and support I will never go to another motel once I found this motel I felt at home they make u laugh the rooms are cleaned never seen no bugs anything I want u get Aswell as they coffeee I work n they respect my sleep time no disrespect even they nieghobors are respectful the front desk Christine are a blessing in the skys she is respectful n show nothing but respect y’all better book here n get treated like the guest u are even my kids love them I can’t complain thank u best motel for being the best motel in Lakeland no motel can out due them and I been to plenty and this one tops it

We enjoyed our stay. The hotels for our SEU event were sold out. So we found this Motel option. We got calls answered diligently, directly, were able to check-in early, and even got awesome help at the desk when we needed to print. The reviews are accurate though, regarding the very very dire need for upgrades in every sense of the word. All the pics are outdated. Maintenance is required at every corner, and throughout the full room we got! The pool is out of order with materials from some work that looks as if it may have started years ago - in it. And all paint from ceilings to wall paper, lobby couches and room mattresses to all grout, furniture and carpets need changing. Old machinery in the hallways have also got to go straight to the garbage dump! Squeaky mattresses too! But I cannot say we had a bad stay. It was clean, there were no roaches, bugs, nor strange things (and if there were one or two outside…it’s Florida! What do you expect when you have exterior doors?) We got the non-smoking area we asked for (though at the corner, a couple went out to smoke all the time, with that smell seeping into our area). One cannot expect a 3-5-Star Hotel nor even a 5-Star Motel for a 2-star Motel price. The sleep was good and silent. Front desk service was great, and for whoever wants a nice morning surprise, go for a walk and find the lot’s NE corner has a delightful little picnic and BBQ area worth sitting at for a warm sunrise welcome from the East! To the Manager: What decade are you waiting for to upgrade and get your good 5-star up to the level of the property you own? It’s a fantastic building with great welcoming facade of nice potential! Why let it die this way? Change your perspective or sell it to someone who sees the opportunity of making it a real “Best Motel” again! Right now its no “Best”. It looks like you inherited it and let it die with your sorrow, barely holding it alive, and cluttering garbage where you can put it in rooms that were meant for great amenities! This place was a real blessing once. God exists. He loves you and that’s why He allowed this place for you. But He will return to ask you about what you did with what He gave you… and remember that what you sow is what you will reap for eternity. So, find your spiritual peace in Jesus and ask God to help you fix your mess. He will help you get yourself and this place back to the real “Best”!

This place was discusting. Walls had wallpaper missing. There were holes in the walls. There was a dead bug on the wall. Then the bathroom door had holes and tape on it. The last issue was hair on the sink. Will never stay ever again. I"ll sleep in my car first.

Checked in the nicest people you could ever rent a hotel room from. Definitely one of the nicest hotels very people friendly from the housekeepers to the people at the front of the office that checked us in couldn't ask for anything better accommodations was perfect I have no regrets

Once I came to best motel they had the best service so what I mean by best service housekeeping ontime postive attitude make sure your room is clean and make sure you are stocked up Aswell as front desk service they respect your phone calls do not have you on hold they get u in and out as the customer you are Aswell as respecting your free space I go to work a lot and I get respect even on my down time Christine is the front desk and they not rude noisey or nasty all my neighbors are respectful the manager is great n respectful of I can choose any motel it will be the best motel because my room my service my stay my well being was safe good and clean with best motel nothing bad I can say about best motel is check it out yourself u will be satisfied

Beware of the owner. He does not have a friendly attitude. worst place to stay in entire lakeland. Rooms have mold in every corner, dirty bathtubs, people hanging outside your rooms. Owner acts as if he owns all the hotels in lakeland. Owner needs to be taught customer service before the employees. Rundown and bad

I was skeptical about this place because of the reviews of roaches and bedbugs, but they were the only place that had a room for the night for 100 and some change so I took it. Inspected the beds and not one sign of bedbugs. Looked around the room and no roaches, a small jumpy spider but I'm finr with that. Beds are comfortable, service was amazing, spoke with on Chris the phone. Will be extending my stay as I'm in the area for work

This is the first motel that doesn't have any roaches nor bedbugs and the room's are very nice and clean and what love about it is that the owner and his staff are some very nice people and what i also love about being here is that there security cameras that makes you feel safer and more comfortable and relaxed and they will be getting more of my time again cause this is my number one motel for now on out and to the owner you are amazing owner and God bless ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️💯💯💯💯💯
