Pelican By The Sea Motel

Having lived in Florida in my younger days I was looking for a piece of old Florida when looking for a place to stay. Sam the owner was a pleasure to talk to and his "Old Florida: feel motel did not disappoint! It literally brought back memories for me. The pool was perfect, room was clean, and getting to the beach was a breeze! Sam even provided chairs and umbrella! I'm already looking forward to next years visit! Thanks again Sam!

The owner Sam was so kind and helpful. The room was clean and updated. The bed and pillows were comfortable and the bedding was clean. Due to a cold snap in the area the room was chilly when we got there, but Sam thought ahead a put an electric heater in the room so we could warm it up. The water took awhile to get hot and unfortunately didn't last very long but otherwise everything else was great. The location was great, it was quite at night and only a few blocks away from the beach and downtown area. There was a heated pool but we didn't use it, we forgot our swim suits and just didn't feel like buying new ones for our 4 day trip. Sam was helping with directions to the beach, restaurants and texted us asking if we needed anything about midway though our trip. Definitely would say here again!!!

Positive: Our rooms were clean and had everything we needed. The owner,was very friendly and welcoming! Within walking distance of the beach, pier, and plenty of restaurants. No issues with parking and a great covered area by the pool with a grill and table. Negative: ""

This gem of a hotel is a short walk from the center of Pompano beach, the pier and tons of shops and restaurants. Family-owned for decades, the staff knows the best local spots and are always helpful. Our room was spotless and well-stocked with amenities including full cable tv channels. Thanks for the hospitality.

Very budget friendly motel with efficiency rooms. Very clean with perfect location. Free parking, able to walk to all pompano beach has to offer. Sam the manager is the best. He is so friendly and helpful. We stayed here 3 time's now. It's like home away from. I love staying here whenever I visit pompano beach fl. Thanks sam for your nice hospitality. You rock!!

My husband and I Shane only spent one night here but we will definitely be back for a longer stay. Sam is AMAZING....he greeted us with a smile and that smile never left his face. Sam went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed to feel comfortable and also made an excellent recommendations for dinner. The room was clean and fully stocked for anybody needing an extended stay. We will be back very soon. Thanks again Sam...YOU'RE THE BEST !!!!

Positive: The apartment was extremely clean, and the convenience of having a kitchen was great. Negative: There was construction happening across the street from the hotel and one morning very loud buzz saws continued for almost two hours starting early in the morning. Negative: ""
