83 Motel

The room was very nice for the $75, taxes included. I was very concerned when it listed weekly rates, but when I opened the door to my room, they all went away. Nice clean room, with no SMELL of disinfectant and bleach. Very nice clean and comfortable beds and pillows. 3 types of pillows for each queen size bed.|Very nice quality towels and wash cloths. Good size fridge & microwave, good for leftovers and popcorn. TV worked good, watched the NBA playoffs. Complimentary coffee and bottled water.|Parking was good, easy in and out, right next to our room which was real nice as it was raining. There was a canopy to park under for check in also.|Quiet and comfortable for our overnight. |Evening reception was polite. Nothing fancie about the place (remember, only $75), very adequate for overnight sleep.

This Motel is an older motel that is kept up well by the owners. The bathroom had been redone with new flooring and a new toilet. The room was clean and the beds were comfy. We had a nice parking spot right in front of our room. The only issue we had was some guy started his diesel pickup at 6:00 AM and left it running long enough to wake us up. Then shortly thereafter the people above us started arguing loudly for a long period of time. This is not the fault of the owners,, but they may need to address their noisy guests. With that said, I would still stay here again. The rate was fantastic!

Very comfortable. We arrived late and they had only a pet room and a smoking room left. We took the pet room and it had no noticable "petness" at all. I may have chosen differently if I had any allergies. The included breakfast was fine too. Not fancy but well maintained.

We have stayed in this motel several times before but first time as 83 Motel. Older motel but has all the necessities. It was clean and the bedding linens very fresh and clean. Simple breakfast but got us off to a good start. Rates are great.

I got this place on Hotwire and they should be ashamed to be associated with this place. Check in Was fine.....beer cans and litter in the parking lots. Dead beetles one the room by the window. I get it’s summer and bugs happen at a motel but they should have been swept up. Extra lock on door did not work. And last but not least.....hair from a guy shaving all over the sink. 🤮so disgusting. Let’s be serious I didn’t expect much for the price but this place was a joke. We only stayed for one night on the way out to Colorado. I couldn’t get a picture of the shaving clippings bc I Cleaned! So disgusting

Microwave didn't work, slime-like substance in multiple spots on the floor, toilet paper was nearly gone when I checked in. And worst of all there were bedbugs! Called the front desk and told him there were bugs and the guy acted like I was crazy. $75 for a night stay and feel disgusting afterwards. Thanks for nothing!

I was in Sutherland for a job. I was only there for 2 nights. 3 months later, my wife and I realized we have bed bugs infestation. This is not something I wanted for Christmas. Now we are left paying for a Exterminating bill. Believe me, it is not CHEAP. If I'm ever in North Platte again and need a place to stay this is definitely not the place I will pick. In my opinion! stay away!!! take time to spend an extra dollar or two for a nicer place. Or spend the money later on Exterminating for whatever you never know what will come out of there.

DO NOT STAY . Several Rooms had bed bugs and they refused service to an individual with a service dog. Very nasty place, would not recommend staying.
