Motel 6 Omaha, NE - IAT West

Pictures listed are far from accurate right now, leading you to believe you’re in a clean and safe environment.. we were not and I suggest others stay away from here who prefer clean places because there was really nothing clean about it! Looks as if children are doing the construction and renovations.. smells as if there’s still glue and caulking drying in our room making it hard to breathe easy.. the aroma of seven different meals being cooked in the rooms around us by the cheap laborers hired to renovate.. as if that’s allowed? Not to mention I’ve been to motel ) before and been really impressed (not this location), always appreciated the mini fridge in the rooms as the one amenity.. I can only assume that got “borrowed” by those working the rooms and out into one of their units. There’s obviously no rules or regulation with them as there was doors open and music blasting each night and loud voices all throughout the hallway as my family and I were trying to have some peace. There’s trash everywhere it’s embarrassing, there’s a back door that’s propped open all weekend (safe?). This is by far the worst stay I’ve had anywhere and would not recommend it to anyone

I checked into this hotel because it was the cheapest one I could find on short notice, I have been in my room for one day now and I have found all this in my room, the pictures are in the review. I have also seen a cockroach that crawled out from behind the mirror over the sink. The pictures that I saw for the hotel are far from what the rooms even look like here. It is said that there is suppose to be breakfast served from 6 am to 10 am everyday, but there is not. In this hotel the only thing you get is coffee and nothing of what you pay for. I will never be staying in this motel again.

This review is based on other Motel 6 locations and not a review against other motels. This is an economy motel so the review is based on that. Clean updated room. Under $60 and our pup stayed free. No coffee in room but in lobby at 6 as promised. Plenty of parking for our trailer and we’ll lite, but…. Bad location, located in an area with commercial businesses all around. Right on the interstate but you had to drive 1/2 mile down a frontage road to reach it. Outside property was also pretty bad. Back side literally looked like a dump! Lower floor was closed for renovations so looks like they’re trying! Again, based on other Motel 6 locations this one gets a 3.

Shockingly bad motel. Only positive is the front desk clerk gave me a refund after 15 minutes of being in the motel. Go somewhere else.

The pictures are not the same hotel. It is Motel 6 in this location but these are not the interior pictures or the exterior pictures. There are use robbers whiskey bottles and a broken down truck in front of the hotel with transmission fluid running on the ground as you walk in. There's a stitch. The only reason I stayed there I drive a truck my trucks and shop and this was the first hotel. I could get into I stayed there one night and left I need to be here for 7 days I walked away carrying my luggage without transportation. It was that nasty. It's no way I would ever ever recommend this for any reason to anyone There are no coffee pots in the rooms in the front the. Have coffee for an hour to first thing in the morning? But that's it for what you pay for such a few day $75 a night plus tax. You get nothing now as far as noise goes it is quiet. That's because anybody in a right mind doesn't stay there but in the room even the border round. The television was laying on the wall and come down but I have to say. I drive a truck and I sleep in places that most people wouldn't walk in. Now that being said I would rather sleep on the ground at the truck stopped in in this hotel. This is nasty there's nothing clean about it. I could not find a clean surface anywhere you got patches on doors walls truthfully. It should be condemned now. I'm not leaving bad review because of any other reason than the simple fact. It's nasty and if I would have seen this review I would not stay there..

Rooms are the bare minimum, but clean and quiet. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Just needed a place for me and my dog on a road trip. If smoke bothers you this isn't the place for you. I'm not sure why so many people complain about the smell of smoke since it is a smoking hotel. Also they don't charge extra for pets.

Great staff to work with, was very pleasant and helpful with check in. Lobby was under remodel so understand but room was fresh remodeled and very comfortable. Will be back next week again.

We stayed here formone night for an early start onwards into Nebraska, booking the place for the location and the price (arriving late eveing and starting early the next day it seemed pointless spending very much at all).||||First impressions.... not great. I suppose you cant hold a hotel accountable for its guests, and one shouldnt judge books by covers, and if people look incredibly shady that doesnt mean they are shady (to cut a long story short the upper crust of society don't seem to be regular clients - quite the opposite). Lots of people carrying their own duvets around for some reason.||||The night manager (or whatever the term may be) didn't seem to be completley at the races either... hardly welcoming or reassuring.||||The upstairs corridor had an odd smell.... kind of a chemical smell trying very hard to mask an even worse smell of unknown origin.... so far so bad....||||Got into the room quickly and locked ourselves in. The surprising thing was the room was OK. It was clean, hardly luxurious but not a fleapit either.... functional. Wifi worked really well, hot water was fine and the bed relativeley comfortable. Once in the room the hotel was absolutley fine ! Slept perfectly well.||||Morning we up and left - didnt bother with breakfast as much as the room was fine some of the weirder occupiers were ensconsed in the breakfast room. In daylight the area looked far less "dodgy" than at night.||||So a tough one to call - in retrospect it was ok.... I guess if you pay bottom dollar you cant expect the earth and we slept fine.
