Airport Motel

I was worried about staying here because past reviews were not the best. This is a nice Hotel! The bed was comfortable enough. The place smelled and looked clean. The service desk's help was very friendly. I would rather spend money in a family-owned Hotel than a chain Hotel. So I'm always grateful when the owners care enough to keep it up. These owners are doing their best in an industry that isn't that profitable (I'm guessing)for private owners. I would stay again.

We booked SEVERAL ROOMS for a family Memorial Service. We had families from multiple states staying. The staff were all wonderful especially the manager Jennifer, she was so KIND, accommodating and compassionate. There was plenty of coffee, 2 juices, multiple breakfast items available all morning. At one point one juice ran out but was refilled immediately!! Any request or need any family member had was instantly resolved.

Ask for price! $95 For single bed. First room they had us in was not ready, We were moved without hassle. The lady at the counter was very nice. For her I give 5 stars. Rooms 2 stars, location 3 stars. Quiet little place, but for the price, I expect ALOT better.

Room is neat and clean. Price is average for this type of hotel. Would've been a 4 rating but the A/C did not work well at all. Waited until dark to open the window to cool room down. Also, they don't allow pets in the building at all, I travel with my dog and had to leave him in the van overnight due to everything within an hour drive of Ord, NE was booked.

Let the staff know I would be arriving after 10pm. When I arrived, the key was in an envelope with my name on it. I was a little worried about bed bugs from the other reviews I read but was happy to report there were none and the room was clean. I found the room accommodating. The bed was nice and firm and I got a good night's sleep. I was surprised to find there was no clock so I had to depend on my body waking me up on time. There was a refrigerator but not plugged in. There was no dial tone on the phone and found that it was unplugged. When plugged in, then it worked. At check out time, I could not get a response at the office window even after waiting for 10 minutes so I just left my key. There was a sign that said 'Coffee available' but I never found any coffee or cups. I would definitely recommend this motel to my friends just go prepared just knowing there are a few things missing. The McDonalds has been closed since Aug 2015 and the only breakfast restaurant I could find was an Arby's at a truck stop.

Stayed three nights at the Airport Motel over the Labor Day weekend 2016. Was surprised to see it is completely remodeled and expanded even though it was great to start with. Landscape also beautiful. Now serves delish breakfast. Rooms were very comfortable, well appointed, super clean, quiet and reasonably priced. Motel staff are bright, helpful and knowledgeable of the area. The owner actually runs the motel and they and their staff made our stay delightful. We will stay at the Airport Motel again the next time we are in the area.

The owner and the personnel at the Airport Motel were courteous, knowledgeable, patient, accommodating, and professional. One wishes that all hotel/motel experiences were as positive as my experience with the Airport Motel in Ord. I appreciate them so much that I’m going to vacation in the Ord area, again, so I can stay at the Airport Motel. They get my highest rating and my strongest suggestion to anyone that you use the Airport Motel in Ord for any and all overnight stays that you have planned in the Ord, NE area.

This is not a hotel that understands the needs of a frequent traveler. ||||First, the door was not locked. There is no way to lock the knob from the inside, but there is a sign above the knob that states it is "always locked on the outside". Not true. I left my room and came back to find the door open. I discovered this after I had spent the night. It's does have a chain, so at least I had that...||||The desk service is terrible. I requested a hair dryer when I arrived. The person at the desk said she would look for one and bring it to my room. Didn't happen. I tried to call the desk to inquire the next morning. No answer. I went down to the desk to inquire. No one there. No answer of the bell. ||||The rooms are okay, but dated and need some deep cleaning. Housekeeping clearly forgets to look under/behind beds when cleaning. I found a bottle lid and a straw...fairly benign, but off-putting. ||||Bottom line, stay if you absolutely have to, but keep driving if at all possible.
