★★★I was fine with the hotel but it is not for everyone. The hotel is a bit dated. The room is quite simple but the bed was comfortable, the room was clean and there was a good selection of tv channels. However, there is some deep cleaning required as the heater intake was VERY dusty (see image). The shower had lots of hot water and good water pressure. The towels were fine for me, but they are quite thin and small. When checking in, I noticed shampoo packets were available at the front desk, but only hand soap packets were provided in the room. Water was not provided in the room nor was there a water dispenser to fill a water bottle. The hotel may want to consider providing a water dispenser in the lobby. The hotel description gives the impression that parking is not available though there was ample parking. It is near a highly developed area with lots of restaurants nearby. However, it is in a bit of a secluded area so it is best suited for travelers with a car. I was a bit disappointed that my room was not available at 430pm (check-in is at 3pm) but the hotel was short staffed that day. The staff I interacted with were polite and tried their best to be helpful. The main concern people may have is safety. The hotel is at the end of a quiet street and it is brightly lit outside of the hotel. However, many of the rooms open outdoors and there was no security staff visible at the hotel. It is certainly a budget hotel and many of the clients had a rough appearance. I was fine but some may not be comfortable, especially single female travelers.I would consider booking again but only for a quick and inexpensive stay.

NillThe manager really cares about his customers. There was a small mishap with a door and he took care of things right away and moved me to another room. He went above and beyond to make sure I had a first floor room when I had to move rooms. The staff is very nice as well. The prices are good, the location is great and the staff is friendly and helpful.

NillTHE MOST DEPLORABLE, DISGUSTING ROOM I HAVE EVER SEEN!!!!!!!!!! We got to the hotel and were met with rude receptionist, screwed on our room (we paid for a king, not 2 fulls), he REFUSED to run the military discount, we had to climb the stairs with our baby, the stairwell was FILLED with cigarette smoke that made us want to throw up instantly, and when we finally got to the room it was AWFUL!!! The trash in the room itself was overflown with garbage from the last person, the beds were OBVIOUSLY still the same bedding from last time just put back together and unwashed, the bathroom trash had a “feminine product” in it that was extremely obvious they tried hiding that there was still trash in there, the floors were covered with all sorts of crap including PERIOD BLOOD ALL OVER THE FLOOR, there was period blood on the toilet paper roll, soap wrappers on the floor, used soap in the shower still, an unused bar behind the toilet, hair in the sink, and SO much more. I SHOULD HAVE SPENT AN EXTRA $10 to just get a PROFESSIONAL business hotel room. And they won’t switch our room to a clean, safe room.

NillI will never return to this place!!! First of all, a group of 30 people arrived, the reservation was made a month before the date, when we arrived the rooms were not ready, there were people who had to sleep on the floor because the rooms had been overbooked, the people who work at the hotel have a bad disposition to talk to the guests, they make bad faces and speak very badly, the pool is closed and it looks like the Shrek swamp, the rooms smelled like cigarettes and supposedly smoking is prohibited in the rooms, they never cleaned the rooms and we stayed two nights and to top it off they called ICE believing we were undocumented, we spent more than 8 hours in that situation since the ICE agents were verifying our immigration status, in short, they are racist and xenophobic. I will never return to a Motel 6

NillOverall, our experience was okay living two nights at this Motel 6 location. The room was clean and it was quiet during the night. Location wise, it is good to explore the city of Buffalo. Price wise, it was expensive. Especially, I was quite surprised that the room had no microwave oven. It is not at all an expensive appliance to provide. Even cheaper motels have this thing free in every room. Also, considering the price, they should have included a small fridge in the room. I took two stars off because of these reasons. I hope they will add these basic amenities in the future in all their rooms. The front desk staff were nice and friendly.

NillThe only thing good about this place is its literal location-there’s lots of shopping and dining within 5 minutes and walking distance. Stayed on the third floor, the elevator door open and closes (not all the way) multiple times before it actually takes you up to the other levels. When we got off the elevator, and walked toward our room, down the hallway was a dog peeing on the walls and the owner just letting the dog do that. Get into our room, the floors are hardwood which was a first for me. Definitely not swept or mopped because my socks were filthy. The shower had clear dark moldy looking stains where you stand. Was suppose to be a king bed but was definitely more like a full/queen bed. The bed sheets were stained and had a musky smell. The bed was not comfortable at all, it was like sleeping on a rock. The person checking us in said “if you need to use the WiFi, it’s under guest all lowercase and one word”. It was the most bizarre thing I had ever heard. Needless to say, I didn’t expect it to be this bad. Stayed just one night because there was no way I was staying there longer than needed. Not clean, smells, there is no care put into that place. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra money to stay somewhere more comfortable and clean.

NillThe location is the only thing going for it. No fridge or microwave in room. What they do have are drug dealers. With all the pounding on doors I felt rather uncomfortable especially as I saw signs someone had tried forcing their way into the room more than once. Weekly rates change from week to week. For a non smoking facility my bathroom smelled like an ash tray more than it didn't. Half the staff seems to live out of the motel and there are a lot of pets. I just found my stay rather inhospitable and decided to go further out of the way that charges less and offers more
