NillI'm driving from California to New Jersey and I've slept in motels 6 because I liked it until today. The disgusting rooms, the dirty floor, the fridge with mold, the manager was angry because I arrived at dawn, the sheets were dirty, when I went to request some sheets to be able to sleep in something clean it was rude, the bathroom disgusting. Terrible experience DON'T STAY HERE

NillIt was nasty. Our room had what turned out to be bed bugs and the chain lock was not connected to the door frame. If you don't look carefully you will miss the turn to it at night. One room had a broken window and the laundry room was out of order. They do not serve any food for breakfast.

NillMotel 6 does not provide shampoo or conditioner. All Motel 6 requires us to do is hand soap and towels and coffee in the mornings only after 11am we don’t make coffee. The prices get raised during an event because we are the closest Motel or even hotel to the two major event locations we get booked and sometimes even over booked. Plus we deal with the after math of it all. The towels are not going to be sparking white. There will be some stains but they are clean. The upstairs rooms are all smoking. And we only have the front side of the downstairs remodeled. Weekly stays go upstairs only! Also we are bed bug free. If we get a report about them in a room we treat it! It’s a hotel you are staying in rooms that people have already slept in it’s bound to happen. Hope you have a pleasant stay.!

NillThis Motel6 was a disgrace. We are evacuees from Florida and were looking for a reasonable place to stay. When arriving we were given a room on the second floor around the back side of the building (#219). The room was absolutely disgusting! We tried to just shake it off and deal with it. That was until we lifted the comforter off the bed to find it soaked. Not only was it drenched, but it was starting to grow mold from being left wet so long. I then went back down and asked to switch rooms again. I was graciously given another room #(217), to just walk into an even dirtier room that smelled horribly of smoke. I wasn't even comfortable putting my baby down on the bed. So I went down to the front office a third time to be told they don't do refunds, but offered us the new remodeled rooms that they had downstairs. They apologized yet again, and explained that they assumed we wanted a smoking room so that's why we were put in the back. We moved into the newer room for 2 nights and it was very nice, other than the fact the plastic wrap was left on the mattress still from the delivery. I assume they were trying to make them last longer or something. As I said earlier we are evacuees of the hurricane in Florida. On the second night of our stay, the hurricane was hitting our home and we heard there was flooding and still no power so we decided we needed to stay a few more nights. We talked to a few people who seem to be long term residents who live there and were told that they had a week special for $250. So on the second night, I went to the office to book a full week so that we would have a place to stay until things cleared up at home. We were told no problem and they said we would have to check out and re check in the next day which was no problem. The next morning I went to check out/in again and was greeted by the hotel owner who claimed we shouldn't have been in the newer rooms to begin with and the weekly rate wouldn't apply for us unless we wanted to be upstairs in the smoking rooms. That was absolutely disgraceful and it felt like we were being taken advantage of because of the hurricane. It was complete price gouging. I assured her we weren't trying to move in full-time to the new rooms and that we had nowhere else to go. So we took the kids and left. This location needs the health department and BBB called on them. It's horrifying that they represent your brand. I've never been picky about rooms but these were awful!

NillCliff Notes: This motel has bed bugs. Room 214 in particular, but I'm sure they're spread throughout. Pros: Night clerk and morning clerk were very friendly and accommodating. The employees at the Wendy's across the street were super nice...I recommend to stop at this exit for the Wendy's, then get right back on I-70. Cons: None of the rooms were properly prepped for occupation. We were told the rooms were non-smoking. 1st room smelled heavy of poorly masked smoke. Found a lighter under the sheets and burn holes in the bedding. We asked for a different room. The A/C in the 2nd room did not work and it smelled even worse of smoke. We asked for a different room. The 3rd room smelled less strongly of smoke but the A/C worked and it appeared clean and we didn't find any bedbugs, so we accepted. We had to ask for a new roll of toilet paper and a second towel. Cable TV didn't work, not a huge deal to us. The floors creaked, felt bad for the occupants of the underlying room. We slept well, but upon awaking, we found a bedbug on the side of one of the mattresses. This was room 214. The clerks were basically doing damage control, managing tons of complaints from the residents. They weren't making up excuses...straight said they were receiving a ton of complaints and the manager was incommunicado. We were too tired to keep driving, but we should have slept in the car. We were told we were to receive a full refund and are waiting on that.

NillEntire lower level gutted for remodel. Upstairs in total disrepair. First room tried, door lock inoperative. Actual room I stayed in, deadbolt inside lock broken. Light bulb missing from bed lamp. Drawer pulls on both dresser drawers broken off. Furniture would get about a dollar at a garage sale. Toilet seat lid broken off. Towels were clean but had permanent stains. Blanket had holes in it. Pillows mismatched, old and flat...had to use 3 for my head. No shampoo. Breakfast area unavailable due to construction. Major axle breaking potholes in access drive. On the bright side, staff was very courteous and professional. They tried best they could to keep it clean. Even though room rate was a few dollars below competitors, not worth it. I'm sure it will be great when both floors are finished but suggest you avoid it for now. The only reason I stayed is I had prepaid for entire week. Besides, I'm used to camping and motels in third world countries.
