Motel 6 Columbus, OH - OSU North

This place has hands down the nicest people working here and the owner is just as nice. While yes it is a business and they are here to make money, they are very understanding and take everything into consideration. A few times it took me a little longer to get the room rent into the day. They weren’t happy but they gave me a chance and that is by far more than a lot of the hotels around here have done. Also I haven’t seen ANY bugs whatsoever. The only thing I could complain about is the selection in the vending machine and the trash around the property. (I have been picking it up some myself when out walking the property) Come on people(guests) just because it is a hotel doesn’t mean you have to just throw your trash on the ground. The train out back gets a little loud and repetitive but it is soothing to me because I lived this close to one when I was young.

My stay here was great. The room was clean, the staff was friendly, and the bed was comfortable. The location was convenient, and the amenities were sufficient for a budget stay. The only downside was the lighting, which could be improved. For the price, it offers good value, and I’d stay here again.

This place was awful disgusting there was Harley any toilet paper in the bathroom couldn’t really use the bathroom here you had to go somewhere else because how nasty the bathrooms were mold in the bathroom. We asked the clerk if I could have some clean supplies to clean the room because it was so filthy. He said that they just changed new owners on Monday and I was like there’s no way this place is not rentable and not for 80 bucks a night there was hose in the blankets stained all over the sheets, private area hair on the sheets, stains all over look like it was never washed before. It’s like they just Remade the beds after everyone would leave. I have pictures on my phone of how disgusting it was. I will never go back to this place. He hesitant to get back my deposit after I complain about the room twice.

Unfortunately the only good thing i have to say is the employees were very friendly. I had to change rooms because the first one they gave us had dirty sheets/unmade bed, food garbage from previous guests. 2nd room i got did not have a functioning toilet. Clogged with every pee i took. Water pressure in the showers was pretty bad. I don't know how to describe the smell other than....unpleasant. also there seems to be frequent drug activity going on in the parking lots at night. 0/10 would stay again

Do not let the photos fool you. This place is a dumb. Garbage all over. The rooms were absolutely torn apart. The area itself is rough along with its patrons. Would not recommend this motel to anyone.

I booked 3 nights for $267 and got room 232 on the second floor. Unfortunately, due to the rain, water leaked into the room during the second night. My bed was wet that night and there was no cleaning service. When I asked a young Indian girl at the front desk, she informed me that they only clean the rooms once every 3 days, without changing the bed sheets and towels. I decided to check out after 2 nights and moved to another motel which was very clean, welcoming, and provided good service. Therefore, I have decided not to come back here.

Friendly staff is the only thing postive about my stay in this place. The rooms were dirty, the towels had stains on them, and the water wouldnt warm up in the morning. This place needs new cleaners ASAP. Is very unfortunate because i had stay at another Motel 6 location in North Carolina and the the rooms were near perfect.

I have never seen this Motel 6 in my life. After booked the Room online The rooms and the beds were a surprising disappointment the night I arrived. It would have been better to sleep in jail because the room had a bad smell and was sticky. When I looked at the bedroom, there were a lot of cockroaches, and the bed's mattress had a lot of bugs. Within 1 hour, I started scratching my body. When I turned on the lights, I saw the pictures I added to my post. Please don't come here, but luckily there are many clean motels near this Motel 6. Don't choose the cheapest option; always consider your health.
