They will hustle you out of your deposit. I paid the $50 deposit, when I left, no one was in the office at 4am when I left for work. I gave it 2 weeks and my deposit wasn't put back on my card. When I called about it, they said that you HAVE to let them know when you are leaving in order to get your deposit refunded

Had an amazing experience here with my family. This hotel is very comfortable, quiet, and the pricing of the room is affordable, yet doesn't effect the quality and service here one bit. The maid is very friendly and makes sure you always have what you need. The owners/management here is amazing and very courteous. They go above and beyond for their customers. I am very grateful to have met and had the pleasure of staying in their hotel. Thank you for our wonderful experience of staying here. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my family and friends.

I want to start by saying that the man that checked us in was very polite and tried his best to accommodate us. The first room that my husband booked online was really dirty. The bedding had not been changed and was stained. The bathroom sink was also dirty and so was the floor. There were two orange chairs in the room that were covered in stains of various kinds and looked like they had never been vacuumed or cleaned in any way. So, I went to the office and asked for a different room. I've been in service jobs, so I know that sometimes people just don't do a good job with cleaning. He seemed concerned with what I told him and gave me a key to a different room. I couldn't take more than two steps into the 2nd room. It smelled like stale cigarettes and pot. So that was a nope. The 3rd room was much better. It was cleaner. The bed was clean, but hard and had no blanket. Instead of an actual blanket, they just had an old polyester bed spread. I'm hoping that it was washed recently. The orange chair in this room was also covered in stains and dust, so we just didn't touch it. The towels in this place are like sand paper. I'm not kidding. They are the roughest, thinnest towels I have ever used. I ended up using my t-shirt to dry off. We will never stay here again unless they make some changes. I'm all for supporting small, local businesses, but this place needs better management/housekeeping.

All clean tidy and in good repair. Saved us a ton of money for where we usually stay. Coffee needs more careful attention. Only one styrofoam cup provided but a Waffle House across the parking lot. Would stay again and will keep my eyes open for more bargains like this.

Royal, it is not. Very nice front desk woman. Asked for a non-smoking room told that it had been smoked in, but it had been throughly cleaned. The smell hit you in the face the minute you opened the door. It. Very heavy cigarette smell. Didn't feel very safe there either. The price was ridiculously high compared to the extremely poor quality. The only plus was being close to the freeway and fast food. Had I not been exhausted, I would have found a Red Roof or Motel 6. Either would have been cheaper and in better condition. Sleeping in my car would have been better.

No frills hotel. Room was extremely clean. Check in was quick and easy. Front desk was extremely personable and friendly. I will most definitely stay here again when I’m in the area.

I'm impressed by their price; $60 per night is great on a budget. The room is nice, it looks like a room that would cost $100+. ||The pros:||VERY affordable!||No issues with any appliances||Comes with a couch, table, microwave, fridge, and shower. ||Toilet and bathroom was spotless||Housekeeping kept everything intact and emptied the trash can, exactly what I wanted.||Respectful and helpful front desk||||||The cons:||Not clean. The edge of the whole room is dirty. Towels have stains; multiple orangeish-brown colors and one red spot. Found a dead bug on the side of the sink. ||Poor soundproofing. I could hear a conversation outside loud and clear. You can hear all vehicles. You will hear everything outside. I wasn't disturbed at night but I can't guarantee you won't. Though you will be woken up in the morning. ||||||The bottom line: This is the most affordable place to stay near Columbus. It's very close to downtown and 1 hour away from Hocking Hills. They are so close to being perfect but so far. I brought my own towels so the towel stains weren't an issue but it's unpleasant. The dead bug was unpleasant. Everything is PERFECT except for the cleanliness. It's your call if you're okay with the cleanliness issues. I attached pictures of the room. The cleanliness would be unacceptable but it was $60 a night, can't get any cheaper than that.
