Motel 6 Dayton, OH

We checked in with a lovely person on the third, very courteous.Very professional.Then we get upstairs and we get to our room very nice.Open concept very clean no issues. There is. No rip. Wrap or any of that around. It's quiet, pet friendly. But have some manners. It's close to all the restaurants and it's across the street from our family. It's right by a hospital. Everything is right here. I guess the downstairs person make sure you need anything if you're outside. They check on you. There is a snack and beverage bar.Some rooms have a refrigerator and microwave. No coffee pots only thing I say kinda bites. It's got the new LED lights.And setup where you can plug your USB straight into the lamp itself.There's 2 spaces for that.In case let's say you forget your charger piece, but you have the cord.So that's nice. floating nightstands floors are new as well.....definitely Will be our spot for our stays here .4 to 5 times a year that I travel here to see my family here ❤️

Nasty roach motel. If you can find a room with everything that works or everything in the room then you should go play the lottery cause it's your lucky day. Terrible place. I would give it 0 stars if I could. Even kept my deposit when I checked out because their housekeeper actually had to do her job.👎👎👎👎

Not recommended. No room housekeeping to provide clean towels for my entire 4 day stay. Bath towels provided in room were small kitchen drying towels. No shampoo provided for showers. Electrical outlets in room non functioning to charge cell phone. All room furnishings and bath fixtures were damaged. No morning breakfast; only coffee provided starting at 8am. Outdoor garbage cans filled and overflowing with trash. Surrounding grounds outdoors also had litter in grass. Lots of traffic noise heard in room. Very disappointing overall.

Positive: It allowed me to have my dog with me. Negative: It was very shabby and run down. Someone's smoking smells traveled into my bathroom. It was very unpleasant. I had to keep the fan on the whole time. The plastic or fiberglass shower surround had been painted over and was peeling off. It was awful.

I got the room at a reasonable price with good and clean rooms. The location is good because most of the commodities are nearby. I received exactly what I paid for.

Although the check in clerk was very nice and helpful and this location is in an upscale area I would not recommend staying at this Motel 6 location. We needed a motel that allowed pets so that’s why we chose this motel. The building looks pretty nice from the outside but it’s terrible once you get into the room. No clothes rod. Stained bedding and towels. The walls look disgusting with rotted moldings and missing flooring. There is no way I’d even touch the tub/shower! Burn marks in the Fiberglas that looked like someone had painted it with exterior house paint and it was disgusting. Thank goodness the sink looked fairly new and was clean. On a high note, the fridge, microwave and tv worked great. And at least there were no bugs. Trust me I checked carefully. I’d have left and gone elsewhere had I been able to find a pet friendly room. My pup got the best end of the deal as I had brought his own bed. This motel should be totally rehabbed. It’s awful.

Nope!…. Went to stay one night. Bathroom was awful, ( was not clean enough to take a shower) was watching tv & one roach came out, I was real still and waited (about to kill it). Then another one came out! I’ve never packed my items so fast in my life! I don’t play about bugs and don’t want to bring any home/car! Left at 9:41 pm. Felt safer in my own car! Ended up getting a better hotel 3 miles away. I do not recommend until they get their bug 🪳situation under control. Was in room 403!
