Cottage Inn

This was my second time staying here and this particular time the owner was acting extremely odd and weird. I called maybe 30 minutes prior to arriving asking about a room, but once I got there, he gave me a bewildered look as if didn’t know what I was talking about but still gives me the key. This was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a motel. Someone who has access to master keys, came into the room while, my guest and I were asleep and took some clothing. I will never stay at this place again would never recommend unless you have no other choice. You get what you pay for.

The worst place to stay. There are roaches, its dirty, they only gave 1 set of towels & said we had to return that set & wait for them to wash them before we got another. Had to ask for trash bags. They never offered to clean our room, no wifi even though they offer it. There is nothing good to say about the place. Oh said pest control was coming today & they are not here yet & its almost close of business. Also we were told not to bother them after 1pm.

Well got kicked out for something I haven't done and the staff is very rude as well so the owners. I would not recommend anyone staying here for any reason

My stay here was horrible. It is very cheap for a week stay, but one you get in the room you understand why. The shower in our room was for handicapped people (which wasn't the issue) so the was no lip at all and water would splash all over the floor, and the tile tp get into the shower was cracked, sticking up and sharp. My 4 year old sliced her foot on it. The carpet was old, stained and thin. The mini fridge was full of dead fly when we first got in the room and barely worked. When we're saw all this we're asked for a refund, we'll they get you there too, with a small sign in the office saying no refunds and then not showing you the room before you pay. And the smell in the whole room was so terrible. When I went to work other people could still smell it in my clothes. I had to double wash everything that had been in the room. The bedding was full of burn holes and so was the furniture. The dresser had at least 2 broken or missing drawers. And the owners let the 6 year old run around naked in a diaper sagging to his knees. The rent out rooms for over a month and to get around the Laws on this they have people switch rooms between the Capri and here every month. Unless you have no choice and need somewhere cheap to stay for an extended time, I would not waste my money here!

If you appreciate being Bed Bug Bite free then I would advice not staying at this particular motel. After all of what I'm about to say happened, it then made sense as to why she refused to let me see the room before I paid for it. Aside from the sheets not being washed and still having burn holes, stains, and a large still soaked spot from the previous tenant. There is an infestation of bed bugs. The management is Rude and obviously lazy. The lady came downstairs to the check out desk with a Tshirt and NO bra on which was very visible. Then refused to move my room when I told her about the sheets not being clean. Also she then refused to give me my money back when I wanted to check out after only being there for 10 minutes. Which i would understand any other time. This particular time I should've got a refund after not being switched to another room and lying about the sheets just being washed and still a little damp from it. That wasnt what it was, they smelled very disgustingly strong. Dont waste your time or money people.

When I checked I told lady my nephew would be staying with me, paid for one week, went to room she gave me only one bed!! When I asked for Two beds she stated they only had one bed rooms at this motel!! I asked for refund and was refused, I will further inves tigate and if they have two beds I will file complete with better business,

Very nice owners. She always makes sure i have what i need so my stay is comfortable, alwaysgives me an extra towel. I really like that. Very affordable and cozy place to stay. I love the Jacuzzi room. It's nice to be able to stay in a room and have a romantic day & night every now and then and be able to afford it, bcuz at other places it's over 200 a night for that room...here it's 60 weekends and 50 weeknights. And their weekly rates are affordable also. And it's not a crack motel like all the others around this area. I've stayed here a lot and never had an issue yet. If you need a night...go here. Best place around.

The price is just right since all im doing in the room is sleeping. Managment is beyond amazing! I recommend here mainly because of the people. They go out of their way to help in everything from something as simple as ice to something major like paying late. I dealt with .Tammy mainly and shes so sweet and friendly. She made us feel like we were staying with friends. When it was checkout time i didn't want to go. My favorite thing about the room...the a.c!! Ice cold air! Dont judge this hotel by the cover. Give it a chance.
