Motel 6 Youngstown, OH

It was a wonderful to stop and rest. It was very affordable compared to the other motels in the area. The location I would say is most convenient it has everything you could possibly need is available without having to travel or pay for a delivery and it was very peaceful the rooms were very clean the service on point employees were kind and it's pet friendly. So even the House keeping was fantastic. I've never seen a pet friendly motel this clean. It didn't even have any bad odors!

I like the place. The location is ok. The one thing that was a bit disgusting were cockroaches crawling out from the sewer (I killed like 15 of them in the shower and on the floor). I give 5 stars for the statistics but realistic 3/5

This is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in! There was a small issue with the light above the sink, but it wasn’t a big deal at all.

The employees were very kind, and the location was handy for driving on I-80. The room wasn’t very clean (floor was a bit sticky, bedding had a few small stains, there was dirt under the mattress, shower was dirty). The room smelled like cigarettes, but we inspected the beds for bedbugs and didn’t see any so we decided to stay. I wouldn’t describe the location as “safe”, although no one bothered us or messed with our cars. There was a lot of activity from other people throughout the night. The room is nowhere close to soundproof so the noise woke us up quite a bit. The air conditioner helped with the noise and did seem to cool the room. I There was a really bad patch on the back of the bathroom door and the dining chair was broken. There was glue on the frame around the TV that looked bad, but it wasn’t a huge concern for me. We didn’t feel great about the tap water so we went to a vending machine for water. There was only one vending machine with water as an option and it wouldn’t take any money so we drove to the nearby gas station instead. Probably won’t stay here again, but it was cheap.

The room was dank, dark , and smelled very old and previously smoked in. There were 6 drug users 12 feet from my door-at 3:00a.m. There was 1 small towel and a hand towel for 2 adults. Absolutely no amenities ie. coffee or tea pot. Unlocked stairway access doors do not leave a safe feeling.

Do not and I mean DO NOT stay at this place. They gave me my first room and the cat piss smell was so bad I went to the front desk. The second room wasn’t even clean and had fast food cups and cigarette ash all over the place. I again went to the front desk where the little young girl got an attitude. I asked for my money back and went to the nice fancy hotel behind this dump.

We reserved a room that was downstairs since I had had surgery early in week and was not suppose to walk steps. Also paid for a mini fridge and microwave. I got none of the above. Even though I reserved and paid for deluxe room. Was told if u order online your never guaranteed anything. Because those sights are trash. Even though I reserved through motel 6 sight. No carts or elevator so literally had to crawl up steps. . My room didn't have a smoke detector, smelled like smoke, cig burns in bedspread, over head light did not work. So only light in room was small light by bed. Shower grought was filthy. Toilet made a horrible noice whole time. ALL NIGHT LONG. you can hear from video I'm in bed when made video. Ice is only in main building we were in different building. Back door was fixed so didn't need a key to get in, which is scarry that anyone could come in. I would not of stayed but there was a huge dog show in area and all pet friendly hotels were full. I was there for the show.

Our room smelled very strongly of cigarettes, even though it was labeled and advertised as a non-smoking room. The bathroom was very clearly uncleaned. There was hair on the toilet and I didn’t even want to get in the shower because of how dirty it looked. There were spots all over the walls and light stains on the comforters. In our room, we could hear guests both above us and in the room beside us. The woman at the front desk was very accommodating to us when we checked in, and even though she initially gave us the wrong room, which led to us walking in on people resting, she quickly got us another room close-by. There were also ample vending machines around the complex. I did like how the motel was within walking distance to multiple nice eateries. But overall, not a great stay.
