Great place to stay! Room was clean, beds were comfortable, it was quiet. Super easy checking in and dog friendly. Love that there's no carpet, but solid floors. Very friendly and great that it's family owned and operated. Cant forget to mention the strong black coffee. And if all that isn't enough to stay here, check out the view!

This motel has a nostalgic old fashioned feel to it. It offers very basic amenities, but the room was clean, and beds were comfortable. The room was fairly small, but had everything that we needed for our 1 night stay. Their are wooden chairs outside of each room to enjoy the evening and on the evening we stayed there was a gentlemen that set up just outside the office and played and sang. Also a couple brought their buggy with two beautiful horses and were giving free buggy rides. We enjoyed our stay and the 'Old West" feel.

The establishment is family owned and operated. All the family we met, were very friendly. The office opens at 7am for those coffee drinkers. They have a washing machine, dryer, and laundry detergent available for $4 per load. The gentleman was very helpful in providing advice when visiting Old Faithful and taking the Scenic By-Way headed to Red Lodge, MT. The motel area is huge with plenty of space to walk your dog. The pool is heated. We're writing about the room we stayed in. We had regular and queen size beds. There were 2 chairs and a small table. The room is antiquated. Flooring was other than carpet, and we're grateful because room didn't smell like previous pets. Add our luggage, dog crate, and two adults, it's tight. Room price was great with a $25 pet fee.

We could not have been happier with our stay at Big Bear in Cody, Wyoming! The check in friendly and fast. Both rooms were spotless; the beds were comfy, the sheets and comforter were very nice. Do not let the price fool you! It is not a low end place.

Friendly staff, especially when I called to reserve a room. Accommodating when our plans changed. Small room but clean. We had stayed here 20 years ago, has been nicely remodeled. Nice breakfast across the street, on west side of Cody, beautiful drive to Yellowstone.

Spent a few nights here with my family in September. Nothing really fancy here but they provide Clean and Comfortable rooms. And it's managed by some really nice, friendly people. This is one of those places where you would return. If I had the again, opportunity to return to the Yellowstone area I would stay at the Big Bear. Did I say Clean?

Really nice change from the corporate chain hotels. Room was very clean. Convenient location. Loved our stay. Single level building was great for our dog and us . Nice to sit outside. Jake had coffee ready in the morning. Didn't use the pool which they said was heated.
