Sage Motel

The bed was comfortable and everything was neat and clean. The flowers outside were lovely. The staff was friendly and helpful. The price was great too. Some remodeling has been done. AC had a problem, we told them about it and they were going to take care of it. We would stay there again.

We were just passing through last minute decided to stay over in New Castle. Sure glad we did!!!! Nice staff, supper sweet. Clean big rooms, supper hot shower with lots of pressure. Some stuff was still under construction, but over all very nice stay. We lived sitting outside with all the flowers trees and birds chirping. Even though it's kind of in town it's still a quiet low traffic street. If your ever in the NewCastle area and need a place to stay, this is the spot 👌 👍

This Hotel fantastic! Cleanest Rooms Ever!!! Perfect location for the place we are headed to in the morning. Easy Check in. Love that the doors have a code and not a key! Bathroom is spectacular! I am so very happy about booking a room here the prices are amazing. Thank You for such a comfortable stay😊

Great place and the one to pick. Gas station and taco John's around the corner. Beer and grocery around the other corner. Minutes from Mount Rushmore,an hour from devil's tower,not far from Sturgis and the whole black hills area. Couple hours from badlands national Park. We decided to stay here two nights to do all that. They didn't price gouge. The booking and online pricing is higher than they book for,was completely upfront about that when I called and got the lower regular rate. It's very clean. They are very nice. Flowers all around and a screen door like a house. It's clean, simple and cozy,best value for the area.

I tell you what, when the snow storm hit on my drive from North Dakota to Arizona, I was sure glad to find the Sage Motel! The check in process was completely remote and smooth as a baby's bottom. The room was clean and comfortable. Everything worked as it should and the value was right on point. Thanks for a great stay on a stressful night!

What a darling place to stay! The room was clean and newly furnished. I love the little touches that have been added like hanging flowers and patio furniture outside. There’s even a cute little picnic area right outside the office. I love it. You’ll get a room number and code for your door so you can go straight to bed without standing in a line to check in!

Wow! One of the cleanest rooms I've seen so far. Great and warm staff, gave me some recommendations for my trip to Devils Tower. I would definitely come back!

We’re members of the LGBTQ+ community and felt so welcome here. We also have 2 service animals, when we checked in and I let the front staff know we had them with us, their response… OMG! So understanding and awesome! The gentleman said, “ok, that makes no difference to us”. We were prepared to state and explain the ADA law regarding service animals and didn’t have to worry about anything! Amazing, attentive, and awesome staff. The room was so clean, the water pressure is amazing here. They have really cute sitting areas in front of your room where you can relax and enjoy a quiet moment. I can’t say anything but great things about this hidden gem. If we’re ever in the area again, we wouldn’t hesitate to book with them.
