My two teens and I really enjoyed our stay at the Grand Canyon Glamping Resort! We began our check-in day with a drive to the Hoover Dam from Vegas. Breakfast at Chilly Jilly's Patio was fabulous; the big horn sheep in Hemenway park were majestic; and the Hoover Dam Postcard Raft Tour exceeded our expectations. We drove from there to Grand Canyon West (through Arizona's amazing Joshua Tree forest), and marveled at Eagle Point and Guano Point. It was very convenient to drive to nearby Grand Canyon Glamping Resort (GCGR) for a one-night stay. Google maps is correct with regard to navigating to GCGR, and the dirt road turn-off was well-marked (if not well-lit - probably more ideal to arrive during daylight). Check-in with Brenda was a breeze, and our covered wagon was bigger than expected. We had a full shower (without hot water in the morning, unfortunately); a toilet; bunk beds that fit two teens who are under 5 foot 10 inches tall; a king size bed; two bedside tables; a round table; chairs. The covered wagon was surprisingly spacious. I brought a sound machine from home which helped drown out guests singing around campfires when we went to bed around 10pm. We received a key so we could lock the wagon when we asked for it, and we had no problem packing up and clearing out before the 9am check-out time. We received 25% off of our meals at the Last Chance Saloon restaurant onsite because we sent in our orders in advance by email. (Note that the restaurant automatically adds 20% gratuity onto the meal bill.) We thought the $20 burgers (and potato chips) and $20 breakfast (eggs, toast, bacon, potatoes) were delicious, and we didn't mind waiting half an hour or so for our meals after telling the kitchen what we had ordered by email several days before. Ruby was a friendly and helpful server, and all of the staff that we interacted with at GCGR were kind and hospitable. The best part was the Helicopter Ride at 9am the morning we checked out! After we wandered around and looked at the buffalo, goats, and alpaca on the property, we checked in with Linda. She was so kind and friendly during our check-in process, and the helicopter pilot with Wild West Helicopters Las Vegas was wonderful too. He gave us fascinating information about the Grand Canyon, made jokes that eased any nervousness, and was a charming host. The views were jaw-dropping! This flight was not only a highlight of our entire trip to Las Vegas and surrounding area...it was a highlight of all of our travels! After the helicopter ride, we went back to our car rental to drive back to Vegas only to find a completely flat tire! A resort staff person named Willy rescued us by changing the tire to the spare, and even offered to try to patch the original tire. He was so helpful, and we were incredibly grateful to him for helping us out of a sticky situation. In sum, I'd highly recommend the Grand Canyon Glamping Resort, and specifically the covered wagons, the restaurant, and the helicopter tour. This was exactly what I was hoping for when I booked it, and was one of the best parts of our Vegas vacation.

We really enjoyed this resort and would highly recommend it to anyone who’s just passing through, heading to Grand Canyon west, or just wanting a fun getaway. The room was comfortable and clean and so cute inside, it was 30 degrees outside but 70 inside with climate control. The bathroom was really clean and everything was new and worked. Just an all around amazing room. The staff was so friendly at the store and everyone was helpful. Brenda accommodated us even though we were late because we had a flat tire on the way up there. They gave us a nicer wagon because we were late and couldn’t really enjoy the day time. She said that Tony (the boss) had upgraded us. And Ruby and Catherine in the saloon were so so nice and we had a great time chatting with them. We also worked in the saloon in the morning and the WiFi was great. Please make this a stop on your list!! Thank you Grand Canyon Glamping Resort!

Rarely do you feel the genuine appreciation and kindness of hospitality workers. Usually it feels fake, staged and inauthentic. Well, not here! From the moment we arrived, Rachel and the rest of the team took such good care of us and every one of our requests. From fixing a window that wouldn’t shut (within an hour), to bringing us blankets by the fire- we are so grateful for Grand Canyon Glamping Resort for making our trip extra special. Would definitely recommend for any variation of groups. Very kid friendly and so many activities.

Fun drive out to this little gem. Brenda was so delightful when we arrived she was genuinely excited to see us. The whole team ensured we were comfortable. We stayed in the chuck wagon in March and it was nice and warm. The bed was so comfortable, the shower had lots of hot water and that fire at night was really special. The restaurant on site had great food. I will be back!

Really great experience, the staff was so sweet and friendly! Food is up to par (amazing breakfast burrito), we took the s’mores kit (50$) and they came and made a fire, installed camping chairs around it and even accepted to get us blankets later on(it gets quite chilly end of march in the desert). Amenities were clean, complete shower with more than enough hot water (we all took our shower in the morning) Would 100% recommend! We were 5 girls on a bachelorette trip! Shout out to Rachel, such a sweet woman! Shout out to the chef and his wife who shared their AMAZING salsa!

After a day trip to the Grand Canyon, this resort was an absolute perfect location. Just minutes from the entrance. We were greeted like family and treated like family. Everything was excellent from the food, the service, to our sleeping accommodations. Loved it so much my family did not want to leave. Looking forward to our next trip Made memories there that we will never forget.

We were very pleasantly surprised! This is a great place where we had a good rest, ate delicious food and had a pleasant and comfortable time in nature. They have everything you need: shower, toilet, air conditioners and heater, clean beds, fresh towels…. Also, the area around is landscaped. You will find a grill next to your accommodation, a table with benches, and not far from the accommodation there is a restaurant with entertainment and games for the whole family. What surprised us most were the animals that you can feed! Among the pets are donkeys, llamas, buffalos, horses… We will definitely come here again! This place is very close to the Grand Canyon and in the morning we visited the Sky Walk without crowds and waiting lines!

Our family of 6 (2 adults, 4 kids ages 10-17) stayed in a covered wagon for 1 night in early April. It was super chilly outside but our wagon stayed warm. The beds were super comfortable and we all fit perfectly. Toni and Willy were so helpful and hospitable. We didn’t try the restaurant but rented a bbq and that was a great option. You drive through a Joshua Tree forest before you get there which was so cool! I would definitely recommend this unique and fun lodging style.
