NillThe casino is nice and luxurious, with plenty of room between machines and table games. the slots felt tight. The hotel is beautiful and clean, with a great staff and is a good place for a pampering stay. food is good and the bar service is friendly. food is okay. customer service at the Player Rewards center could be better. staff is approachable and accommodating. the casino is non-smoking, which i appreciate.

NillStopped for a casino visit only. The parking garage was pretty full on a Friday evening. We enjoyed some slots machines for nearly two hours. With three people none of us in different areas were ever approached to get a drink. I sat at the same machine for over an hour and 15 minutes and never saw a waitress. I did have a decent return on my investment.

NillI recently visited Talking Stick Resort and Casino, and I can confidently say it was an amazing experience! As someone who loves poker, I was thrilled with the setup and atmosphere. The poker room was top-notch, and the games were engaging and well-organized. This trip was even more special because I brought my wife along for the first time. She tried her hand at poker and had a blast! She also played the slot machines for a bit and enjoyed them as well. It was great to see her having such a good time in an environment that was welcoming and fun for both of us. The staff were exceptional—friendly, professional, and always ready to help, which made our experience even better. We’ll definitely be coming back soon. If you’re into poker or just looking for a fun and lively casino, I highly recommend Talking Stick Resort and Casino!

NillCasino Arizona sent my wife and I 2 free night stay at this hotel resort Talking Stick. The hotel rooms are beautiful, the facility is nice and clean, the staff was nice and approachable, the casino is small and the machines did not play with us. We'd rather gamble at casino Arizona.

NillWe stay at Talking Stick Resort several times a year for different events. I've had good and bad experiences with the hotel rooms. This time, we hit the jackpot with a killer room on floor C1. Our room was what I'd consider a corner suite. The rooms lack amenities, but that's common for casino resorts. The hotel is showing some age but is still a nice place to stay for any casino or Salt River Fields-related activities. The area around the resort is being built as well. The staff was outstanding on this trip! From the valet, bell service, front desk to the bar tenders. The security staff can be challenging. A few I spoke to were like talking to a wall; others were on it. I'll be back next year requesting a room on the C floors!

NillThe review didn't mention Ocean Trail restaurant. It simply lists Talking Stick Resort which is the umbrella for many different venues. In our case we are simply interested in the ocean trail restaurant because of its very special Cajun cuisine. We didn't have to go to New Orleans for the Super Bowl because we could enjoy Cajun cuisine at this great little spot within the resort. It's not that frequent when you find Cajun cuisine in the Phoenix area. I'm sure there are other restaurants out there. However, we enjoy the easy style of service with a bar you can sit at and watch your food being prepared. The server will ask you what flavor temperature you want your food prepared to. For the inexperienced Cajun diner beware five on a scale of 10 will have smoke coming out of your ears. However, we sat next to an experienced Louisiana Texan Cajun food aficionado who ordered his temperature a six. He loved it of course. We ordered our plates at a temp. Of 5 and needed to have them lightened up a bit. Which by the way the cooks who are right in front of you were more than happy to oblige.. when we travel to Scottsdale this is one of our regular stops. If you try it my guess is you will become a regular as well.

NillWe're not casino people, but I got the wagering bug to bet on the ole Alma Mater's football game. Took ASU and the spread and won.... Lost on the over, but was so close.... Next, the two teams I basically hate are Ohio State and N.D., but this was strictly greed on my part, so I took Ohio State and the over.... The Buckeye fans are calling for the coach's head cause he can't beat Michigan...(ain't that great)? Hopefully, the national championship will keep them at bay...in any case...with the time left, he could have had the team do the victory formation and basically be assured that the championship was won ... I don't know how many of us there were, but I would be asking for his head too if he hadn't kicked the field goal, not only to win by double digits and pure luck, but most importantly, to cover the over.... We were able to rest easy but not without drama to the bitter end . Okay, so about the betting area... It's fine, fun, and friendly...and the staff is very helpful to insure you're getting the bet you actually want... So, until Autumn...I decided for one last wager... Superbowl; took KC and the spread, the Over, and just for good measure, KC on the coin toss. We'll see how I do..... Anyway, the casino is very friendly, as well as the staff. Parking is not a problem as they have carts coming around all the time to take you to the door....and from the door to your car. So if you're a casino person, definitely check them out, and I think you're gonna be totally satisfied ... as for losing... can't help you there unfortunately.....
