Casino Del Sol

Just went in to play the slots at the casino and it was very nice. Very clean and friendly staff. Plenty of parking and not too far away from the casino. I have back issues and walking a lot causes me to get back pain later in the evening but it didn't happen. The casino had a large variety of slot machines and had an awesome smoking bar which is great for smokers like myself. Restrooms were very clean and fully equipped with hand soap, toilet paper, paper towels and sanitizer which is great. This was my first time at this casino and I was very impressed by it and will definitely come back again and highly recommend it. Thank you Casino del Sol.

The way the casino handled the "medical emergency" this weekend was extremely unprofessional. One of 2 things happened. They either closed the steampunk convention for no good reason, putting tons of vendors in a position of losing money, and putting a lot of people in a position where they had to figure out lodging and accommodations last minute. They didn't give a good explanation leaving many people afraid and confused. Or, they closed the steampunk convention for a good reason and there was actually a contagious virus, and they choose to value money over safety by keeping the casino open. The convention was in the casino and the vendor hall was open to the public free of charge, so everyone was commingling. They even kicked the convention goers out of the hotel, while checking in new guests. It's now 24 hours after the closure of the steampunk convention happened and they still won't come out and say specifically why they closed, leaving the public to make assumptions and for all of us who were at the con, to wonder if it's safe for us to go to work and see our friends. No idea what we were exposed too. The news has already come out and said it was norovirus but the casino has neither confirmed nor denied this claim.

Everything felt like a five star hotel. It was quiet. The bed was extremely comfortable. Plenty of pillows. Soft bed linens. Extremely clean. Friendly staff. I would highly recommend this facility to everyone! There is golf, a nice spa and pool area for those who do not Gamble.

Steampunk conference this week 3/22/25 and someone came i to the vendor hall and yelled at us that “due to medical,” we all need to “pack up and leave.” Hundreds of people in there. Tons of booths and merch… no explanation and did not tell us what we were exposed to! Dug a little and it is either food poisoning or something highly contagious. BUT, they didn’t close the casino. We were welcome to go play. No apologies for all the money people are losing? Their livelihoods highly impacted. And losing a whole day tomorrow. But the casino is open… you can get your sick on in there, that is ok.

We stayed in the Estrella hotel and found it to be a wonderful stay. The room was clean, well appointed, and well taken care of . The cost was very reasonable for the area and the casino and staff was really well done and beautiful. We will definitely stay there again when in the area!

This was an amazing experience!!! Wasn't sure what to expect for our first time here, but wow, were we happy we came!!! The absolute friendliest staff at a resort that I can remember. Were already planning to come back in the summer!!! Thank you too all!

Lets be honest. Completely over rated. I've lived in Tucson for 20 years. We moved out about 6 months ago and decided to come visit. A friend of ours hooked us up with a few free nights. First time staying in the hotel. Motel 6 on the freeway has better rooms than this. This place isn't worth the stay. Even if its free

This place sucks. Don’t get tricked by the cheap room rates. Our room doesn’t have room service. In a hotel. No room service. It’s insane. The pool bar is supposed to be open and it’s not. Wife got a pedicure at the spa and it’s god awful. Thought we’d have a great family vacation for a good price and it’s terrible. The pool is fun I will say that. But any pool is fun.
