Bluebird Bay Resort

Bluebird Bay is THE place for a nice, relaxing getaway on the water! We just stayed this weekend in the 2 bedroom Kingfisher cottage. The cottage was beautifully updated and super comfy and cozy for our family of 9! The back patio deck was large enough to accommodate and entertain visitors we had one evening and with a peaceful view of the lake. I loved that it was on the bay so we didn’t have the noise and busyness of the lake. I was super impressed by how attentive the staff is to your needs and making sure you have the best stay. We had some cooler temperatures during our stay so the heated pool was a wonderful touch! Bluebird has everything you could need and more than we expected upon arrival. They allow use of the pedal boat, paddle boards, pool toys for kids, fire pits, games, fishing poles, and a giant lily pad for the lake - we never once had to leave! I’m so glad we booked a stay and we will definitely be back next season!

Bluebird Bay exceeded our every vacation expectation. We booked through Airbnb, will definitely book through Blue Bay directly on our next visit. When we pulled up we were greeted by our Host Lindsay and her Manager Annie. They were clearly measuring for something and both stopped their activity to check us in and make sure we felt at home. From the moment we arrived to the property we were treated like family. The unit we rented was two bedroom one bath. The unit was clean and had all kitchen utensils, a griddle and a hot plate. The pool was clean, the pool decor has an Oasis feel. The docks by the lake were clean, there is a lily pad which my kids had a blast. We took out the pedel boat there were kayaks and paddle boards too. Thank you Lindsay for your kindness, we will be back!!

We rented a two bedroom cottage for two nights while in town visiting a sick family member. The cottage was adorably decorated, clean, well stocked, and comfortable. What really put it over the top was the staff (Annie in particular) going above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. She gave us a full tour upon arrival and told us she could provide us with anything extra that we needed. On the second day she even left us flowers at our door with a sympathy card about our sick family member. The kindness and compassion of Annie on top of the lovely cottage made the whole experience exceptional.

We stayed here last year for the time. The room we stayed in was decorated nice and was clean. I’m giving it a 4 star only because there could be some updates to our room. We also had a beaker trip a couple times when trying to use a hairdryer. Staff was super quick to get power back on for us. They mentioned they were aware of some updates needing to be done to this room. We are looking forward to staying here again this year. We already booked and reserved our cottage. We aren’t staying in the same one as last year, only because we want a larger space for all of us. So this year we booked the largest cottage that they offer. Can’t wait!

We just spent the weekend at Bluebird Bay Resort and had a fantastic time. We rented a 2 bedroom suite and it was perfect for our family of four. They are working on renovations and our suite was completed and very cozy, clean, and comfortable. They aren't very large, but they did a great job utilizing the space with creative solutions and storage drawers under the bed. We had plenty of room. The pool was clean and well-kept, they had docks available for our rented boat, and ample places to sit outdoors. The real charm is in the owners. Lindsey was incredibly kind and helpful and you can tell she takes great pride in the resort and the community. We will definitely be back!

Perfect!!!! We booked a last minute trip to enjoy some much needed family time. We sure got everything we wanted and more. The rooms are beautifully decorated and have everything you need. The outdoor areas offer many different water views and lots of seating areas. The hosts are amazing and take time to welcome you and show you around the resort. We felt extremely comfortable and welcomed. We will be back!!

Awesome place! Owners are on-site and always very friendly and accommodating :) Clean, updated suites on an inlet in very close proximity to Indiana Beach. Location feels very private yet still close to activity. We already have our 2024 plans in place!

Had such a great time there. The hosts were so accommodating. They have remodeled most of the places and they did amazing. The views of the bay were great. Loved sitting on the porch in the morning and overlooking the water. Drove a quick 2 minutes away to rent a boat. Indiana Beach was 2 minutes away also. They had games to check out and play. 2 fire pits with chairs provided and most rooms had their own grill on the patio, and if you didn’t there were plenty around. Pool was nice and clean and kept up. Fresh flowers were waiting for us when we checked in. Such cute little touches to make you feel welcomed and at home. Love to see the whole family taking part in the day to day things like cleaning rooms. Cannot wait to plan our vacation next year with extended family and friends. Thank you for making us feel so welcomed!!!
