NillChecking in- upon checking in we texted to let her know our time frame that we would arrive. We arrived a little early and no one was there so we had to wait which was ok. The lady came in, took us to our cabin, took our payment for the rest of our days. Told us if we needed anything to text or call her and that we were the only ones there for the night and left. We were told nothing about the property, basically left us on our own. So we went exploring- property is beautiful there’s plenty of seats overlooking the beach for some beautiful sunrises/sunsets. Beach is also nice and looks like you can swim in in it.They have two fire pits on each side of the property. The next day we did talk to an older gentleman who told us to help ourselves to the wood and actually any wood. Which we did and had a fire with one of our cabin neighbors the next night. Cabin 1~ it’s cute and cozy/ worth what we paid. It only has the little hot plates to cook on but you can make it work. Full fridge and microwave. Bed was meh but you know it’s not your home bed. I liked that there was a nice sized t.v and it didn’t have a 13 inch tv. The location is also nice it’s not far from the shipwreck museum and the falls. The little town has a couple restaurants that are definitely worth eating at. If we travel up again we definitely will stay here again. It was a comfortable, very peaceful stay.

NillQuaint collection of cottages right on Lake Superior. It's run by a great couple who live there and have been running it for 32 years. Our cabin was clean and comfortable. No cable so bring DVDs. The beach was right outside our cabin and had chairs and a fire pit. When reserving, the owners are old school so you will have to mail a check to reserve and pay.

★★★★★I cannot say enough about how clean our cabin was. We stayed in the A-frame for a girls' weekend/mom getaway. It was perfect! The cabin was well-stocked and so comfortable. We will definitely be back again next. So glad we found this place. Would highly recommend.

NillMy wife and I stayed in one of their cabins in June 2018 for a partial duration of our honeymoon. We were not disappointed whatsoever. Lovely cabin, beautiful views from the water, and very close to town, and the restaurants offered in Paradise itself. Only complaint we had was out of their control: mosquitoes. Ugh. Other than that, highly recommend their lodging.

★★★★★Stayed in a timber cottage with a fabulous view of Lake Superior. Lovely ambiance and well equipped. We mixed trips to local sites with rest & chill time. Hosts were most helpful. WiFi internet : we knew this would be basic only: it was fine to do email and messaging but downloading/streaming any video would be out - not that this bothered us. Overall - absolutely delightful -and very memorable. ||We visited the Shipwreck Museum at Whitefish Point and Taquhamenon National Park Falls: both were outstanding. Ate at the Fish place & the Bakery - both good. The locally caught whitefish at the fish place were excellent.

★★★★★The cabin is right on Lake Superior. It has a door wall and two windows that give you a wonderful view of the lake. The kitchen was stocked with everything that you would need, but the food. The only negative thing I would say is that the cabin is close to the main road and there is road noise. But we still enjoyed sitting outside by the water and by the bomb fire. I did get cell service. We didn't watch TV because we spent all our time outside. But the only TV you can watch is DVDs. There wasn't a big selection, so I would bring your own.

★★★★Very welcoming, cozy, and secluded. If you want a sometime a away from the busyness of life this is where you need to be! ||The cabins are fully furnished, huge bonus! Right in Lake Superior so the view is stunning. My husband and I really enjoyed our stay there. We planned an Upper Peninsula vacation and this was perfect for a central location!

NillWeird we were charged our credit card for first night and second when we arrived. If you cancel you forfeit the first night charge. When we arrived, owners were friendly, grounds were rustic and peaceful. Once in room, it smelled really musty, bed linens and towels too. Was not told there wasn’t no a/c or fans, but owner did dig one up for us after we went and bought one. The water smelled, due to well. Shower was horrible, hardly no water pressure and if your short, give it up, water won’t reach you. There is no cleaning service, you have to go to office and swap out dirty for clean. The good thing was, it was peaceful, but definitely not cloud nine. Oh and Paradise, was no paradise.
