Dorner's Big Bear Hideaway

Stayed in cabin one at the Saint Germain location. What a cute little place with all the amenities you need close to all the trails and outdoor activities. The service was fantastic and was very easy to check in and check out! Will definitely stay with them again.

Awesome cabin, awesome location, awesome rates. Cabin looked brand new and even smelled new. Very clean and comfortable! We had a couple of friendly bucks in the yard, turkeys roosting in the nearby trees, and caught fish from the pier. Wishing we would have had time to take out the canoes. Looking forward to future visits. We will be back!

My family and I stayed here a while back over spring break and it was AWESOME! It was clean, cozy and very relaxing. We were also able to use the outdoor sauna which was perfect for winter time. We loved our stay and will definitely return.

Beautiful facility that's very quiet! Our cabin was very clean and well furnished. Troy and his wife were very accommodating and friendly. Absolutely no disappointments. I would highly recommend this unique place in the Northwoods. We're looking forward to going back!

We live in Eagle River and for years we have been searching for the perfect destination for our mid-week snowmobile getaways. We finally found it at the Big Bear Hideaway. The cabins are all unique in their rustic decor. They are very clean and well appointed. The entire resort is well maintained. Good TV programming which is not always easy to find. Close to town and also to dining. So far we have only stayed in the Honey Bear and it is very comfortable for two people.

We just visited Big Bear Hideaway with a big group of close friends in two of the lodges. We've been straight up camping for several years, and now finally (in my opinion) have graduated to the lodge experience. We loved to cook and grill and it had everything we needed. It has a very unique charm, and the drive and location was awesome in the fall. Amazing how many bear carvings, and related art, can be in a single home. I'm definitely suggesting Big Bear Hideaway to friends and family for future trips.
