Landmark Resort, Door County

Checked in on a Saturday night late and was helped by Jeff! He was a great guy and very helpful. When we got to our room we discovered the stove wasn’t working. Within 5 minutes of calling the front desk, someone was at our room and fixed the issue! Overall the rooms were elegant and had all we needed to cook within our room. Even with all the snow, maintenance crews were doing their best to keep the roads and sidewalks clean! Overall, the stay here was great and we plan on coming back in the summer!

The resort was nice though the unit was unusually small. The living room furniture was not that comfortable. The thing most enjoyable was the hot tub and sauna in the building. Able to access these daily even when I went to the main building for the exercise and pool. This is a major plus for winter visits. The hallways in the building enabled me to get good walks in. There was a nice fireplace and lounge area overlooking the bay.

We were very happy with our stay at Landmark. Our unit was thoughtfully furnished with everything we needed. It was clean and even had some recent upgrades which were appreciated. We used the indoor pool and whirlpool and both were well maintained.

We have been coming yearly and always enjoy it! One of my favorite trips. The rooms are nice and the kitchenette is awesome. Great way to save money on vacation. The pool is nice and open 24/7, and the staff is helpful. The living room is comfy and inviting, and they have a good TV package. Super close to Egg Harbor and lots of things

Just a peaceful and pleasant experience here. Room size was great for our family of 5 (2 bedroom 2 bath). We enjoyed walking the property and enjoying the views. Clean and comfortable amenities. Location to everything in Door County was perfect. Will go again.

I am a very picky person when it comes to hotels and timeshares but I LOVED this resort. Trust me, when I say I am picky, I have walked away from hotels and resorts after paying for the stay if I felt it was gross or not up to par but this place was so cozy and comfortable, you would t regret booking it. I’m not sure why the reviews are so down on this place. We stayed in March to visit our daughter and love it. We love it so much we ate staying again next year for Christmas. This resort seemed to be par with the resorts we have stayed in at other resorts. Not sure why they say it needs to be renovated, we thought it was really nice. Everything was super clean and nothing looked dated in my opinion.

Most things in Door County are closed in January, especially during the week, which we expected. We did NOT expect that the amenities at the Landmark Resort would also not be available to us in January! Despite very few people there, we had a view of the parking lot instead of the bay of Green Bay, the onsite restaurant closed for the season we day we checked in (1/26/2025), and the indoor pool also closed for maintenance the day we checked in, for the entirety of our stay. The outdoor path in their 200 acre resort was also closed for the winter. None of this was indicated on their website prior to our arrival date. The location is lovely, Egg Harbor is great, with many restaurant options, even in winter (though some are closed some days of the week. We were disappointed that we couldn't even drive through most of Peninsula State Park, and couldn't see the lighthouse and overlook. The annual Winterfest in Fish Creek was disappointing too. We'd attended 10 years ago, and there was much less to do this year. We left after one hour! We came back at 6 pm Saturday for the fireworks, though -- they were great!

I’ve been coming here with family for the past few years and this is by far my favorite resort I’ve ever stayed at. I usually go in August, and there are multiple outdoor pools overlooking the lake, hot tubs, scenic walking trails, and beautiful lake side room views. I am hoping to stay here again in January, as they still have so many things to do!
