It’s ok. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The rooms are VERY dated. Everything seemed clean. But don’t go here expecting something modern and updated. It definitely has a certain classic vibe to it, which is fine, I guess. Nice spot to stay if you’re in town for a race at the nearby Road America race track.

Cute, cute & cute! We had the pleasure of meeting the new owners Tom and Kristen as well as Jackie the office manager. Very nice and accommodating people! We sincerely wish you well in your new adventure. We look forward to coming back and will highly recommend your property in our travels! Thank you, Rachel and Ralf.

Our room was not that special. Had a nice balcony with a small table and 4 chairs. The free breakfast was okay, but the eggs were a little odd (eggbeaters?). The breakfast items were the same all 3 mornings we were there. The beach and lake are fantastic. THIS is why you come here. We rented a 2-person kayak ($15/hr) and paddled around the lake. Very reasonable. The room was expensive, but online they are running a "pay for 2 nights and the 3rd night is on us" promo. That brought our room rate to an average of $111 per night. Food at the tiki bar was great! Reasonable prices and the BLT and Turkey BLT were outstanding!

I've stayed here two times now: Once as a wedding guest in the smaller hotel rooms and once on a family vacation in the condos. Both stays have been great. The free breakfast is a great person, and there are tons of great places to relax and read. The lake amenities are nothing special but get the job done.

This place is absolutely gorgeous! We were there for a wedding. Although they do have rooms to stay in they are a bit pricey during peak season times. We would've loved to stay that night but felt $227 was just too much for a room. The area has several other B & B and rentals to choose from. We found a local farmhouse that with taxes and fees came to $255 and accommodates up to 8 people so we chose that for our party of 4. However, we hear that the rooms at Victorian Village are beautiful and the prices fall drastically lower after peak season so maybe someday if we're in the area we'll check it out.

After reading all of the positive posts I feel obligated to post my review. My wife and I stayed at the Victorian Village last year during the Indy Car weekend. The rate was well over $200.00 a night with a three night minimum. The room we stayed in was horrible, I travel extensively and this was one of the worst rooms I have stayed in. The room had an odor of Febreze of something similar to cover the mildew smell, the beds were terrible old and broken down, the bathroom was small cramped and out of date & of course mildewy shower curtain. They have brochure wireless internet, it does not work. They actually had the plug in wireless booster plugged in to an outlet on the wall in the hallway, the kind radio shack use to sell? I do not mind paying a lot for a hotel room but this was to the level of a total rip-off. Not sure who is posting here but it is suspect, there may be nice parts to this hotel but I did not see them. P.S, The free breakfast was not good!

Overpriced rooms given their outdated condition. Ours in particular was near the pool and the floor in our room was damp. We couldn’t wear socks let alone bare feet...it was pretty gross. Also the walls were paper thin. We could hear the conversations of the people next to us clearly and they were talking normally. The room functionality was subpar to say the least. The bathroom door opened up into one of the beds, the blinds were broke and didn’t fully shut...etc. For the price we paid and this being a resort, I’d expect a room in a little better condition.
