NillSecond time staying. Great rooms with a second bedroom; and clean. Views of the golf course excellent. Earlier in the summer, so the 400 Springs restaurant wasn't open yet. No biggie, found Grandma Mary's cafe 12 minutes away. Kids enjoy the pool. Always go early in the week as it stays less busy.

NillMy husband and I stayed here this past Thursday for my birthday. I have to say I am a hotel manager and this place far exceeded my expectations. Super clean rooms that were comfortable and had a great view. Staff was friendly and helpful. Great socialization in the lounge and Kate the bartender was absolutely amazing. Would highly recommend to any and all. Great peaceful getaway from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

★★★★My friend and I stayed in a suite and it was clean, comfortable and quiet. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful - just not the person on the desk when we checked in. We didn't realize the restaurant on the grounds had closed. It was still listed on the website when we booked. Some limited food options are available onsite in the bar - including breakfast sandwiches in the morning and really good burgers. It was a little hard to find ice - most of the machines were not working at the time we were there the first week of May.

NillThe location is amazing. My husband and I love the scenery. We do a lot of traveling and this was the first hotel we have stayed at that had a pool/spa that we actually went to. (We work as maintenance technicians and have our CPO) walking into a pool area and not having the smell of chlorine is a great thing (Pool chemicals are on point and pool is clean). I’ve seen some reviews regarding the resort being outdated. I don’t believe. It’s actually outdated, I believe it’s meant to have the vintage(original) look. The resort is clean and we both were really impressed with that and the maintaining of the building. The only thing we weren’t so fond of was the ice machines. There was only 3 that we could find. 2 of which were out of orders. They also only have them on the 1st and 3rd fl. We loved how the room was still decorated/designed as the original. There balcony has two entry points, one from the room and one from the sitting area. The newer jetted tub was also impressive. We didn’t expect that at all. The only issue I had with the room is that there was an area that smelled of wet dog. Other than that it was a great place to stay.

NillFriendly and accommodating staff. Great amenities. A quiet get away near a very charming town. The House on the Rock is a must see museum and the resort offers a comfortable stay for the weekend

NillThe resort is a great place to stay for the weekend if you’re planning on visiting the House on the Rock! The scenery is amazing, the golf course looks really fun to play, and the rooms were “outdated” sure, but it feels time-period accurate and have a cabin-like vibe to them.

★★★what a nice place to stay wile in the area. my wife and i stayed here with a package to the house on rock attraction included with our stay. ( we came for the holiday decorations). I dont know why people are complaining about this place, its great. the size of the room is impressive for this price point. i liked the layout as well. our snoring can keep us both up so having another room to go to is a plus for us. ||The location is great. only moments away from the area attractions, house on the rock, tallison, and town. free parking, complimentory soaps. had plenty of towls, and the beds were comfortable. coffie maker in the room clean and a variety of pillows. ||the hot tub was closed do to repairs, but the pool was open. I would definitely stay here again and recomend you do to.
