NillI've stayed at Idle Hours three times, now, and I've been nothing but impressed with the resort. Idle Hours is located on Little Saint about as far from Highway 70 as it gets, which makes for a quieter stay on the lake. This resort is family-owned, which is rarer today, as many resorts are condo associations. Sally and Tom are terrific people. The grounds and cabins are always clean and in great condition. I visit St. Germain in October and April every year, so I appreciate the off-season pricing. Most cabins have washers, dryers, and dishwashing machines. Recently, they added separate wifi for each cabin; another cabin's kids can't big down your connection. It's a welcome addition to the resort. Book a cabin at Idle Hours. You won't regret it!

★★★★★Idle Hours is a 5 star resort! The modern cabins are the perfect getaway for all ages. The cabin amenities are exceptional. Overlooking Little St. Germain Lake is beautiful. We also enjoyed the visiting wildlife. The owners are the "Best," too! You can't make a better choice than the resort in the Wisconsin North Woods. Highly recommend!

★★★★★Beautiful resort on Little Saint Germain lake. Cabins are modern, yet rustic, with full range of large appliance & gas fireplaces. Great view of the lake. Boating is provided, and pontoons are available for rent. Highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

★★★★★This is a lovely resort. The cabins are beautiful, clean, and well-equipped. There are many amenities and extras available at no charge, such as kayaks, canoes, volleyball court, and ping-pong table. There are opportunities to mingle with other guests, such as a weekly cookout, and community firepit, but, the cabins are spaced nicely for privacy as well. Fishing on Little St. Germain Lake is quite good, especially for panfish. The family that runs Idle Hours are the nicest people, and they make you feel right at home. We've visited Idle Hours for the past 3 years and just booked a cabin again for this summer. I've stayed at many resorts in the Wisconsin Northwoods, and, this is probably my very favorite.

NillMy family and I have been staying at this resort for my whole life. It's amazing. The owners are wonderful, cabins are clean and modern, and there's plenty to do. They supply kayaks, canoes, and water skiing to those guests without their own. Love this place!

NillQuiet, family-friendly resort that feels like home, away from home. Owners are so friendly, cabins are clean and well-stocked, boats are well maintained. Our favorite things to do are kayaking around the peaceful Lake, the abundance of fish to catch and swimming with friends we've met that come the same week every year. Nearby mini golf, go-karts, great restaurants, and our new favorite, ATV trails. Bring your own, and drive 100+ miles on beautifully groomed trails right out the back door of your cabin. We've been coming for 5 years now, and it's the high point of our family's summer. Every year is better than the last. This is a great vacation to disconnect from life, and reconnect as a family!!

NillLove it here! Our family has been vacationing in St. Germain for over 25 years but we have only been to this resort 2 times (and returning again in 2 weeks). The owners are very friendly and the cabins are nice. We're so glad we found this resort and were able to reserve a week every June.
