Simla View

Ideally located, this wonderful B and B is close to all the places you really want to walk to. It is away from the madding crowd on Jakhoo hill and yet is within walking distance to the Mall, the Ridge, the iconic Gaiety theatre and the lovely Christchurch cathedral. The whole area is surrounded by fir trees and away from the claustrophobic built up part of Simla. The rooms are airy and comfortable. Nitin is a marvellous host and Sunil, the caretaker is a wonderful cook and makes sure the guests are comfortable. They also offer a lot of help for tours and trekking, which they can organise. So two to three days before I wrote my review on my trip Manali and I told you guys that I will the review on my continuation of that trip. So long story short. from Manali we went On a road trip to Shimla and on the way we did river rafting of 9km and it was so much fun and great experience. And we reached to our deluxe luxury hotel and the hotel was so cozy and chic . The next day I didn’t even know what was going to happen that day . Without knowing I ate heavy breakfast and we went to an amusement park and I played a lot and later I vomited for five times and I was weak the next day and we went to airport and landed in Hyderabad and then later we decided to not have any road trips only flights ||And all I’m saying is apart from the vomiting part every thing was great.

Shimla View...where to start?! This is an amazing place, great value for money, and has the best host (Sunil) who goes out of his way to help you. Our stay in Shimla was made better by staying in this B&B. Sunil was extremely helpful and took us on a little trek to the monkey temple which was fantastic. We also took a cooking class which was one of our favourite experiences in Shimla. Well worth spending time here, as its centrally located and there are bars close by. If you have the chance to get the room with the balcony, you will never forget waking up with the view of Shimla and the bright sun coming into the room. The monkeys also add extra comic value (for no extra cost...hahah). Great time and experience, will visit again. Stayed at Hotel Combermere in Shimla, and just a few floors up we were able to walk on Mall Road. It was an out if this world experience. We walked throughout the Road and enjoyed the fabulous view from up there. What an amazing experience it was, full of activity. Shopped and bought various things, at affordable prices. Certainly a must if you are in Shimla.

A highly recommended place to visit for those who are planning a trip to that region. The scenery, climate and The places of interest are really a must to experience. Simla can be covered with a two nights stay. The highlight of our visit was the climb up the Hanuman temple located on a hill top with mischevious monkeys waiting to grab anything from visitors. The beautiful old English guest house with lovely surrounding gardens is another place that should not be missed.

It was our 2nd visit to Shimla. Rooms in a Cheap rate with a good view, lots of activities to do around. You can enjoy the photography and expected rains on Mall Road, Horse riding pictures. Market for shopping and walk around is just 5 minutes walk away from the hotel.

lovely guesthouse on the hill, guaranteed beautiful views. room was clean, spacious and bed was comfortable. you can eat nice meal in here and have your washing done. very close to the Mall. monkeys on the balcony are definitely a highlight

Nice hospitality and very near to the Ridge. Stay there to access prime location of Shimla. I never had chance to stay in the room with views due misrepresentation of rooms by booking.com site while booking the room||Also, the rooms are too costly in comparison to the facilities provided|
