Disappointed by Inflexibility Despite an Otherwise Smooth Experience From the moment I made the booking, I received multiple calls — first from the owner and then from the night in-charge — to confirm details and seemingly ensure a smooth stay. And truth be told, everything seemed promising at first. We checked in quite late, precisely at 11:38 PM, and appreciated that everything was in order when we arrived. We specifically chose this property because they advertised a complimentary late checkout option. That flexibility was essential for us, as we planned our weekday itinerary accordingly — aiming to visit Jakhu Temple early and spend a bit of time on Mall Road before heading back, ideally within two hours past the standard checkout time. But here's where the experience began to unravel. When we politely requested a modest 2-hour extension, we were flatly told by the receptionist that all rooms were booked and no extension could be accommodated. No willingness to check or even acknowledge our late check-in. No understanding. Just a robotic "No." It was frustrating, to say the least. Looking around, it was pretty obvious that no other guests were checking in, no vehicles were arriving, and there was zero visible urgency to clear the room. It really felt like they could have helped but simply chose not to. Sometimes, a little bit of humanity goes further than sticking rigidly to rules. After all, guests remember the kindness, not the policies. We weren't asking for much — just a small gesture of goodwill to complement what was otherwise a decently handled check-in. Instead, we were met with cold inflexibility, making us feel like just another transaction instead of valued guests. To the management: Next time, try to consider the context, not just the clock.

Room was small and not properly cleaned. Washroom was small too. Service is top notch✨.Food is also great. It's near jakhu temple, so not an ideal location to stay as you will need a cab whenever you want to go out. I booked valley view room, however there are no views from my balcony.

My family and I stayed at Jakhu Vibes Shimla for two days, as part of our tour package. Trust me, the service here is exceptional—you'll experience the best you've ever had. The staff is so polite that you'll truly feel like a valued guest. Although I am not a foodie, everything I ate was absolutely delicious. The rooms are very neat and clean, and the entire property is well-maintained with high standards of hygiene. I would highly recommend this hotel to any of my friends traveling to Shimla. Additional information, you will get room heaters from reception if required.

This place is hidden gem - located in very peaceful and ambient surroundings. Staff is very accommodative and friendly. Food was very tasty and several options to choose from. The only critique I would have is about rooms - little outdated but I think this is across whole Shimla. Overall I would highly recommend this place - we had a great stay with kids.

I recently stayed at Jakhu Vibes, and I must say the experience was totally worth the price. Although I didn’t get the best room, it was still comfortable and absolutely fine for what I paid. The highlight of my stay was the stunning view and the exceptional service provided by the hotel. The staff were super friendly and attentive, which made the stay even more enjoyable. A special mention to their adorable and friendly dog it added such a warm, homely touch to the whole experience! If you’re looking for a budget-friendly stay with great views and amazing hospitality, Jakhu Vibes is the perfect choice. Highly recommend

The location of the property offers good valley view. The hotel room was clean and well maintained. The staff is supremely courteous and took care of all the needs like family. Vickyji, Rakesh and all the other staff has been very kind and always treat you with a good smile. Food is freshly prepared basis your order and is very tasty. Highly recommend stay at Jhaku Vibes!

A Hidden Gem in Shimla Where do I begin? There are so many wonderful things about this hotel. Location: The location is unbeatable. Nestled in the Shimla mountains, it's right next to the Jakhu temple, offering stunning views and a peaceful environment. I stayed in a corner room, which I highly recommend—it’s amazing with a giant tree overlooking the room. The rooms at Jakhu Vibes are immaculate, reflecting the high standards of cleanliness maintained by the hotel. I was impressed by the attention to detail and the comfortable, cozy ambiance that made my stay so enjoyable. One of the highlights of my visit was the food. The taste and quality of the meals at Jakhu Vibes are unmatched. Every dish I tried was delicious and prepared with great care. In fact, I would choose Jakhu Vibes' food over any other restaurant in the area. Bestest hotel in shimla everything was wonderful like location, room, hygiene everything was great service is so fast and good best hotel for family I had spend great time with my family in this hotel I book suit room and it was great.... 👍👍

First of all, I would like to thank all the staff there. Other hoteliers should learn from them how to deal with guests. I am a person who has visited many countries. It is very rare to see such kind of staff. The food was so delicious, butter roti, tawa chapati and curries. I have not eaten such delicious food in the last few days. I am giving five stars because there is no option to give more than five stars.
