I always thought that wonderful travel memories were based on the actual places I visit. But I now feel that Anshul, Puja and Anjuna from Doris Mountain Homestay gave me my wonderful travel memories of Banjar, Tirthan Valley and Jalori Pass, because they were exceptional hosts. They have such a high level of professionalism and are brilliantly organised. They took such good care of me. I loved their homemade food, and all the trips that they organised for me. This Homestay is named after Anshul and Puja's little girl Doris. She is such a wonderful little girl. Many thanks to this family for my life long memories of Banjar

Felt homely, had a great experience staying in Doris. The owner made the visit more comfortable with home cooked food. Happy and comfortable stay with family and friends. Must visit place. 6km away from Jibhi and 7km away from Tirthan Valley. Great mid way property to stay in.

I would love to give 6 stars, if that be possible - Anshul is simply the best host you could wish for :) The room is just as beautiful as described and can be seen in the pictures. Everything was very clean and you could even take a hot shower, which is never a given in the north. Anshul's homestay is simply unbeatable in terms of hospitality :)

An excellent place to stay at - it was one of my best experiences so far! The hosts are extremely warm and kind and will make you feel at home. The food is amazing too - home-cooked and perfect to taste. I would 100% recommend everyone to stay here. : )

Doris Mountain Cabins is a great spot to stay if you want to explore Tirthan Valley further. The room is so cozy and had everything we needed. It looks like the photos and is very clean. The town itself has not so much to offer and the street is quite loud unfortunately, but the view from the balcony made up for it. Our host was super nice and helped us with everything and he and his cousin cooked amazing food for a low price. Highly recommended 🤩

Stayed here with my family while we were on vacation for around 4 days and I have to stay it was an absolutely delightful experience. The view from the balcony was truly breathtaking especially during sunset, and the rooms were as advertised, spacious, clean and perfectly cozy. The hosts were gracious, as they would very generously cater to every request we had be it providing us with amazing food or any help we needed. The town around isn't the most happening place in the world but it is indeed very peaceful if you're looking for that. Would highly recommend this place as and would also love to stay here whenever I'm in the area.

The rooms offer gorgeous views and are designed with a lot of care, giving you plenty of space to unwind. Plus, the homemade food is absolutely delicious, adding to the whole experience. The host is incredibly helpful, making sure you have everything you need for a fantastic stay. If you're looking for a charming mountain escape, this place is a top pick!

I stayed at Doris Mountain Cabins for three nights and it exceeded my expectations. The place is perfectly located with all the beautiful places being super accessible. The view from the balcony is superb and last but not the least, the food is the best part. Also, the host is extremely sweet and will always make sure to accommodate your choice of food and will give you the best advice about the places you would want to visit. 10/10 recommended!
