The Xanadu, Coonoor

Beautiful and well maintained property with breathtaking view and garden was a highlight of our stay. We had an amazing stay at The Xanadu for 4 nights. The house was clean, comfortably furnished and perfectly located. Communication with the host Ms Aparna was prompt, helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend The Xanadu to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway.

The food was pathetic and found a pin inside the food. Location is great but NOT worth the price. Room-1 is pretty old and the door doesn’t lock from inside. (These basic safety measures should have take care prior)

Had a great time with friends. Breakfast could include more fruits as they were reluctent to provide when asked . Also a working condition microwave would have been helpful. Overall it was a very pleasant stay

Absolutely loved the place!! First of all the location of the house was amazing, breathtaking views from the windows. The flowers around the house were so beautiful. The place is so well maintained, this stay was the highlight of our trip for both the adults and kids. The help there is very good, they clean up after us and always keep the place so clean. I really appreciated that i could relax without worrying that my kids would mess up the place. The interiors were so well done and the place was so well equipped with utensils, first aid box, etc. So much thought has gone into making the place a luxurious destination that I won’t think twice about staying there again. Thank you so much Aparna and the full Xanadu team.

Stayed on Sep 9 for a night. Excellent property away from Coonoor. It has 3 rooms, hall with dining area and a kitchen. Amazing views amidst the clouds. Nice home prepared food with good service. Slight concern was privacy since we stayed in a room other 2 rooms were occupied by other family who majorly utilised the hall and other areas of the property. Caretakers know only Hindi, very difficult to communicate with them in English or Tamil. A feedback to the owner since u are situated in Tamil Nadu, u should employ atleast one guy who knows the native language/English too since majority of the people come here may not know Hindi. Wil visit again.

Great property. well maintained. The caretakers are very good and the breakfast was also very good. Had a lovely relaxed stay. They also have an excellent small library. Good books to read n relax. Great views . Early morning walks on the dew caressed lawn amidst the clouds was the highlight of our stay|

Having travelled around the world It won’t be an exaggeration if I say, it’s one of the best places we have stayed so far. Best View, neat and clean, excellent service. Everything was top notch. Feels like living in the nature yet with all the facilities. I couldn’t find any negatives at all. Would surely recommend it. Kudos to the team managing it.

Property is definitely worth visiting. It's a beautiful and well maintained villa with breathtaking views from the terrace, which i would say is usp of the property. You can relax and unwind yourself by enjoying various indoor games available at the property or reading novel of your favourite author which property offers while sipping a cup of coffee with an unmatched valley view. Satisfy your hunger pangs here with the scrumptious food prepared and served by the staff. Your all needs would be taken care of by the awesome care taker at the property. If you are looking for luxurious stay with a blend of homely feeling, go ahead and choose this property!!
